This site is a short walk to the High St. of Moreton in Marsh and centrally located to many of the Cotswold places of interest. Very clean facilities and they were nice and warm on the coldest 24 hours of the year. Efficient and friendly staff and pitches give plenty of space. Excellent children's playground d and great areas for dog walking. A great site.
very disappointed
Stayed here for two nights on the coldest days of the year last week. Wifi was dreadful and would not hold. The warden did his best and contacted AirAngel for us but it was very unreliable. Plugged TV into their bollard and could not get ITV properly, the picture kept crazing and you couldn't follow anything. This could be a good site as the location is great but it needs some serious maintenance of wifi and tv reception. The wardens were great.

A nice weekend visit and going back
Great staff, nice welcome, great location. Having a MH I don't have an issue with the size of the plots, as long as they take our van and awning then fine. Going back between Christmas and New a Year.
Great site, thanks to the wonderful wardens.
This is an excellent site, I can only praise the wardens who do a fantastic job. They are very friendly and on hand to help if there is a problem. Wonderful toilets and showers which are kept spotless. Easy walking distance of the lovely town of Moreton in Marsh. The TV aerial system around the site gives a good reception.
Good Site, Small Pitches
This site is a short trip from several large cities and therefore a popular short break, especially at weekends. The site staff seem to have a very relaxed attitude to those wishing to stay beyond the normal midday departure time, to the extent that when the site is even moderately busy afternoon arrivals can have difficulty in finding a pitch. I certainly did, even though I arrived at 2pm on a Wednesday. This can be a real problem as the pitches are very variable, with many rather cramped and closely overhung by trees (which will put a layer of dirt and mould on your unit's roof within hours). Other problems include the sometimes unreliable TV booster system (ours was ok) and the wet sunless conditions on many of the pitches. While we were there one service point had been marked off “do not use” with no explanation. Positive points: the site is well-positioned for visiting the area and the toilets and showers were among the best-presented and cleanest I have seen, although there were some reports of cool showers. Short walk into town.

Autumn break at Moreton
Used this site for a long weekend break recently.
It`s a big site and handily placed within walking distance of Moreton-in-Marsh, one of a number of visit worthy Cotswold towns and villages.
Makes a great base for exploring this wonderful part of our country.
I`m a great fan of the Caravan Club and its sites but, if I`m honest, this one is looking a tad tired. The pitches don`t seem to be the usual Club size so you`ll really struggle to get your caravan and awning on the hardstanding..........then there`s the question of where to put your tow vehicle.
Most people, near to us, put their cars in front of their `vans. This barely left enough space to gain access to the site roads and manoeuvering to leave would definitely have been tight, assuming other occupants had not gone out for the day.
The site also sits cheek-by-jowl with the A44. This is an extremely busy road that carries many large trucks. Why they have to rumble their way through this lovely Cotswold town I`ll never know.
However, they do, and the noise they create is hard to escape, wherever you pitch on the site.
Having said all that, it is a lovely site with smashing wardens so go use..........!!
Stunning
Arrived last friday for 2 days, beautiful site and well laid out, shower block was due for refurbishment the Sunday we left, was wondering what refurbishment needed to be done as they were in lovely condition with powerful and hot showers. Definitely one of my favourite sites and will return again very soon. 10 minute walk into the beautiful town and a massive dog run. 10 out of 10
Pretty Village
Very helpful wardens and spotless site. Wardens smiled and took time with us even though they were rushed off their feet. Toilet and shower, washing blocks spotless. Disabled facilities very good and dog walking areas good. We will return for longer in the summer months to explore the beautiful countryside.
Great site
We stay for 6 night and had a great time with our three dogs. There field was brilliant, facilities were spotless and the wardens where fantastic and friendly.
Yes agree the pitches are on the small side, and in places quite close to the next pitch, however what a great find and will be back
Oh the bus service was brilliant, as well as the train station location
Great location but in need of a revamp
Just returned from a 3 night break. Site is pretty with lots of trees and we managed to find ourselves a quiet area of the site (we have a nervous rescue dog) only to then find that the toilet block at that end of the site was closed for maintenance. I have to say that the pitches are tiny though with no room to park your car without encroaching on the access road. If that site was busy you would really struggle to get your caravan in and out of your pitch without a motor mover for this reason I would say that that this site could really do with an update to the pitches. Having said that the wardens are really friendly the toilet blocks immaculate and the site is in a fab location of the town with lots of restaurants etc to choose from and a lovely walk to Batsford Arboretum. So I'm sure we will be returning to this site mainly for the location to the lovely town.
