Lovely site in a great location!

We stayed here for three nights in February half term. The facilities were absolutely spotless and there were plenty of toilets and showers available. The wardens were friendly and maintain the site beautifully! Just a very short walk into Moreton. The Bell Inn pub is dog friendly and has a very pleasant landlord. We went to Ask Italian in Moreton where the service was awful!! The pitches are well laid out and the site feels very rural, lots of grass and trees. We will definitely be visiting again! Lovely site!

Good weekend

Stayed last weekend from the Friday to the Sunday. The weather was very poor snowing on the Saturday morning but with all the roads and hard standing no problem getting around. I liked the Fish and chip man that turned up on the Saturday night very enjoyable. The toilets and facilities where clean and tidy, the wardens look after the site well. The motorhome service points are OK as long as you know we're the drain is on your van as you have to lift the covers after parking the van, but I managed that ok as I was on my own. They I had to turn the van around as my water hose is not that long. But you learn to live with these things. An idea for the caravan club have water hose reels as there now a lot of Motorhomes visiting the sites.

Nice location

Stayed last weekend but site very full due to drainage work necessitating closure of half the site . Staff very helpful but no reduction of fees due to building work . Unfortunately only pitches left on Saturday afternoon backed onto the A44 so very noisy particularly early Monday morning . Facilities and hard standing excellent not so the TV reception which was non existent without using a 25 m aerial lead sold for £15 at reception .Wi Fi chargeable and too weak to stream anything . Ended up using 4 g . Chemical and rubbish points plentiful but motorhome service area poor due to two small manhole covers over which you had to judge the outlet of your tank. This is obviously a caravan orientated site but half the people staying where in motorhomes so investment in a concrete drainage area to drain grey water would be welcome. Fresh water had good pressure. Motorhomers in general don't want to carry grey water lugging devices as they have large retaining tanks on board. Very well located to walk to Moreton or Bourton on the Hill where the excellent Horse and Groom does good food and ale .

Almost perfect site

Very friendly and helpful wardens, who were great when our leisure battery died. It was no problem for them to charge it for us. The location is fabulous! Easy walk into Moreton, with dog friendly pubs - the Black Bear was great, friendly, accommodating, good beer and food, treats for the dogs. The dog walk (wellies needed) was a bit waterlogged, but a great space for the dogs to hoon around and do the necessary. Our only complaint would be the size of the pitches. We only had the porch awning on, so managed to squeeze the car on, but don't think we'd have managed with the full awning.

January Visit

Our third winter visit to this site. As usual the staff were very friendly and well organised, the facilities very clean and well maintained . Great location as Moreton in Marsh is a short stroll away with great pubs and restaurants. So many places to visit nearby if the weather is not that friendly which luckily it was. Always very popular all year around.

Great site, great location!

If you own a motorhome you do tend to rely on the site being close to amenities or at least a cycle ride away. Here the site is just on the edge of Moreton in Marsh and is accessible with a short walk along a well lit pavement. This is great for evenings or pub visits. I am sure that any visitor will love the little market town as a nice place to be. The site is currently having work completed to the East shower block and some pitches. However, this is all quite discreet and should have no effect on your stay apart from the open part of the site feeling quite full. The pitches are on the small side with some caravanners struggling to park their cars. The main road is great for access and quite busy but did not present a noise issue. As always the site is beautifully maintained and all the staff are warm and friendly people. It all adds up to a great base for a fantastic holiday in the Cotswolds. Have a great time!

Lovely part of the Cotswolds

This was our first visit to this site in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds. A very large site, the wardens were very helpful and the shower block was warm and clean. We have a large caravan and found the pitches very small - although we were on a hard-standing with awning pitch, if we had erected the awning there would have been nowhere to park the car without encroaching on the road. Due to heavy rain, parking on the grass would not have been a sensible option. Also, the gravel on the pitches was a very thin layer, insufficient to stop the pitch being waterlogged and muddy. I think we were unlucky in having a very noisy family pitched behind us. It's the first time we've experienced that on a club site. Would we go back - maybe. I think overall we prefer the Broadway site.

First Stay at Moreton in Marsh

Although we joined the Caravan Club in July when we purchased Mable, our first motorhome this is the first time we have used a CC site. We were so impressed with our greeting on arrival by the site staff, all the facilities were clean warm, and welcoming. As we have a dog it was great to have an area to let her off the lead and became quite a social event for dogs and their owners. Everyone we met (canine and human) were very friendly. The walk into Moreton in Marsh is short and as said before " ideally on walking back at night although there is a good path you need a torch as there isn't any street lighting". As my husband and I are novices at setting up, every trip we learn something new, but thank you to our neighbour after hooking up electric, which didn't seem to work , checked are trip and fuses (sounds like we know what we are looking for 🤔) he came and told us "we needed to turn the adapter on the post" and then there was light !! So thank you. Also a very BIG thank you for all who work on this site as it is a credit to them. As this sight is only just over an hour from home I can see us being regulars.

January stay at Morton in Marsh

This was our first experience at a Caravan Club site and it did not disappoint. Having only just joined the club it was all new to us, and all good. Made to feel very welcome at reception, nothing too much trouble and everything explained very well. We chose our pitch in a quiet corner enjoyed peace and quiet, a stunning sunset and birds feeding outside our MH in the morning. The shower block was excellent and spacious, hairdriers and separate showers, basins as well as toilets and all very clean and warm. The service points were easy to use and refuse point had many dustbins for recycling waste. All in all, a first class experience within easy walking distance lovely rural Cotswold town.
