It was our first visit to this site and I was apprehensive despite all the brilliant reviews as we tend to go to Adult Only sites unless family over from Norway. Everything that has been said is true. Every member of staff is welcoming, happy, full of fun and do a great job.The site is larger than we normally use but so well designed. We found a lovely quiet corner in what apparently is the older part of the site and it was all adults. Perhaps they should think to make this an adult only area as a couple of other clubs do. We shall certainly go back with our granddaughter at some point as the area for children was one of the best I have ever seen. Hubby & I played Crazy Golf and laughed all the way round. The pitches are level and a nice size for our little van.Icing on the cake was being able to walk into Moreton-on-Marsh in which I found a lovely make their own sweet shop...Sweets etc. Some lovely quirky shops and very friendly people. The fish and chip van came Saturday night and as Star Trek fans we loved it as it was called Star Chip Enterprise which was reflected in its paint job. Well done those people! Yes we would go back there just the two of us as it was a lovey place. One of only 2 sites that are not adult only we would go to without our granddaughter. There was some road noise but not too bad and it was drowned out by the bird song. Thank you to the lovely staff you are a credit to the CMC.
Unexpected stay
We turned up at the site on Tuesday as had been recommended to visit following a stay at Bourton-on-the Water, the warden who greeted us was very friendly and it was absolutely no problem that we had arrived on spec, they very happily confirmed they had plenty of room to accommodate us and showed us a selection of pitches we could choose from. The walk to the town centre takes approx 10 minutes and there are plenty of good places to eat/drink. There is a market on a Tuesday and we had a great time browsing the various stalls. Would definitely go back as there is a bus stop right outside the site so you can easily visit other places. Wish we could have stayed longer in the Cotswolds as so many things to do and see.
A sense of humour
I booked some time ago for three nights at the end of March, but last Monday we decided that the weather forecast looked just too good from the Thursday onwards. I phoned the site and told them I am considering coming a day early, and was told that Thursday would be a better day to arrive anyway, as there would be a better choice of pitches. I was told no problem and I could call anytime to add the extra day. In the end, we just did it, and when we arrived, no problem at all.
Location is perfect for a Cotswold weekend, with something to do every day for weeks, there is always the excuse to return. Seems we have done that a few times, and still not done all we want to. The only down side for me is that there are quite a few dog owners there, but most are well behaved, and the dogs seem quiet enough too. There is a dedicated field for them, as there is for the Toddlers too, so everyone should be happy there.
The staff are all fitted with an individual company approved sense of humour, and do their best to ensure you will have everything you need for a pleasant stay.
We had a fortunate weather break for five days, so Awning up, use and down were all conducted in the dry. That was pretty amazing for the last week of March. Disappointingly the clocks were changed to BST, so we lost an hour... On the positive side, they let us leave a couple of hours later when we departed. that allowed one last trip up to Evesham.
If I can make just one suggestion, it would be the Internet access. It needs to be free, and at least usable for the new TV access portals (sky box-sets, Now TV, Freesat etc). I write as part of my penance, and it would be great to access my work from the site, however, the peace and quiet makes up for all the excuses for not getting work done, and not publishing the web site on time.
Return? Of course, but there are other stops in my calendar too. Autumn sounds good, and having done that before, can vouch for the benefits of a hard-standing.
Book it if you must, but please leave me a space for when I want to go there...
Pleasure to stay there
We received an excellent welcome from the warden on the desk, which is sometimes missing on other sites.
The site and facilities were always kept at a very high standard by the cheerful wardens.
As the buses stop just outside this makes a great touring site.
The local town is well worth a visit too. There is a garden centre in walking distance along the Stow road. Well recommended for its cafe and delicious food.
Would definitely go back to the caravan site again.
Well done to all the wardens for making our stay a pleasurable one.

Pretty site in an excellent location.
Excellent location, with an easy, level, 10 minute stroll into a typical Cotswold town. There, you will find plenty of nice pubs and tea shops to eat in, and lots of independent shops selling local produce, clothing and antiques. There is also a small Tesco, a Co-op, and a large Budgens supermarket. The station is in the centre of the town and trains run to Oxford every 45 mins or so....a journey of 35 minutes, costing about a tenner return.
The site is fairly quiet, with a little bit of road noise which didn't bother us at all. NIce level sites and good, clean facilities. Nice little site shop with freshly baked goods every morning. The wardens are really helpful and friendly and keep the site beautifully....there is even a herb garden for customers' use.
We will certainly return.
Recommended site
Many good reasons to use this site when visiting The Cotswolds. It is a short walk into the picturesque town with its local shops and a good supermarket. The train station is also near the site with trains to Worcester or Oxford. Even by Club standards, the facilities were amazingly clean well maintained. Local bakery produce on sale at the site office, including hot croissants. Our main interest is cycling and the area has few off road routes and a lot of ferocious climbs so not the best option for cycling. Otherwise, the site is thoroughly recommended.

Another great stay
Moreton In Marsh club site
Always greeted with a warden smile. Site is always very tidy and clean and friendly staff, all booked ready for mayday 2017.
Great location for walk to arboretum and back to the pub, don't forget on site pizza Friday night
Gee
1st time at this site
We usually spend a week at the Broadway site and visit Morton in Marsh but having changed from a caravan to motorhome we thought we'd split our week between the two.
The wardens are lovely and can't do enough to help. The facilities are well used but the wardens work hard to keep them spotless. It's a pity that some members don't respect the wardens and fellow members enough to make sure the facilities are clean and tidy before they leave.
The site is perfect for walking into he village and we found a lovely walk through fields to Batsford Aboretum. Most places are dog friendly which makes for a really enjoyable break particularly this time of year. The only downside for us was the size of the pitches and the dirt that trailed everywhere even after a small amount of rain. Many of the hardstandings are sparcely covered, due mainly we assume to the heavy use of the site. Grass is damaged as very often you cannot avoid driving over edges when hitching and unhitching.
We can see why the site is so popular, particularly with the older members, due to its location, and in fact there did seem to be quite a few members who knew each other. But for us the tidiness of Broadway would probably mean we would visit Moreton rather than stay.
Great site
Clean and tidy site good facilities.easy walk in to town and well located for exploring the surrounding area.
Great site
We stayed here for a week. The site is very clean and facilities were warm.Plenty of hot water. Wardens were very helpful and pleasant. We would definately recommend this site and we will be back in the near future.
