This is my favourite site but will it continue. ? Hard to secure a weeks pitch due to weekends being fully booked. Not sure the 12 moths advance will add to this issue. A busy week hence we were left with "poor" or the last of the available pitches. These were by the exit next to the main road. It was noisey until around 2230 at night then started again at 0700. It didnt bother us this time but it did bother some Motorhomes who joined us, as they quickly moved before the next arrivials once better pitches become available. Not convinced about the Glamping Pods and the effects on the site. We will see. Would more pitches be better ? The site is first rate, reception, & facilities. Love I can order a paper, love the staff, and love the location. No complaints. I wonder though if thought could be made towards giving a less than daily rate for the non popular pitches or if weekends are fully booked giving a discount if I book the 4 days in between. If you dont then Im afraid I will be forced to go elsewhere.
Another great stay at Moreton
This is our second visit to Moreton Club Site and we will be back. This time we went so we could go to the Moreton Show, which was excellent. Despite the site being very busy, it was stilll very clean, quiet.
The wardens could not be more helpful and were really great fun....Thank you
I have put “good for families” despite not having and children with us as the site will not let me put N/A. So I really have no experience of the site with children.
Recent stay. It’s heaving and noisy.
This is the second visit over a few years. It is heaving and awful. Each pitch just has enough room for caravan and awning cars park in front of caravans, people sit on the green area by your caravan. It’s noisy. The lovely dog walk has been halved for clamping pods.
The local area is lovely and handy to walk into Moreton in the Marsh. Male warden at check in very helpful female felt was abrupt.
Would not recommend unless you like being on top of others.
Good site. Will return
It’s our second visit to the site. We returned for a 4 nights stay in August 2018 after a Caravan holiday in the Lake District. The site if pitching your Caravan near the main road can be quite noisy. This we took into thought on our recent visit and made sure we pitched opposite side which was much better. The one thing that brought us back was the closeness of the Main Street in Moreton which only takes about 15 mins to walk into along a path and the facility of being able to take our dog into many a restaurant, Cafe, Pub / Inn etc. Tilly,s Cafe in Moreton In Marsh Main Street even brought over Some biscuits for our dog. The wardens were very friendly and during our stay were revamping the pitches with new gravel. There seems to be a growing trend of glamping which we noted have now been introduced to the site.
Hmmmm..... losing it's appeal & charm!
As a family we have stayed at this lovely site many times, however we will have to think long and hard before returning again. The greeting from the wardens was as ever friendly and informative bar one vital ommission. No mention of the construction site on the old dog walking field. As per previous reviews noise and dust from 8am to 5pm each day, along with some colourful language was the backdrop to our stay. How sad that no notice of this work is placed on the CAMC website or acknowledged by the wardens on arrival. However not to be perturbed we carried on with our stay. Overall the site is badly in need of refurbishment. The pitches are in very poor condition and very tightly packed. The time is surely fast approaching when someone in authority the club, needs to grasp the nettle and decide to reduce the pitch numbers in favour of space. I fear however financial heads will keep things as they are, sacrificing space and safety for profit. If you are planning a stay, it would be advisable to avoid the weekends. Full capacity and feral children will detract from your enjoyment. I too am a father of a young child, however running through pitches, cycling round caravans and using the roads as a raceway are not something I would allow him to do. In this respect however I don't this this site is on its own. This all sounds dreadful, but a once lovely site is sadly losing its charm and appeal which surely must be addressed.
Irresponsible dog owners.
Great welcome from staff spotless facilities and excellent location. Chose a pitch and set up only to shortly afterwards have the peace destroyed by the ongoing works to install camping pods. The noise started at 8am and went on to 5pm and the dust given off by the landscapers using angle grinders without damping to cut concrete slabs etc. was horrendous. There should have been a warning on the website that works were taking place.
The other issue was irresponsible dog owners allowing their dogs to defecate on the pitches, not their own may I add, despite there being a dog walking area. When I saw a woman using the pitch next door to exercise her dog I pointed out to her politely, in case she didn't know, that there was a dog walking area a mere twenty yards away. She replied " Im not using that! my dog might pick up all sorts from other animals". Its about time the club dealt with the irresponsible couldn't care less campers. When i reported a guy for cleaning his toilet cassette at a drinking water tap at Tewkesbury last year I was told "There's nothing we can do unless we actually see it" so I understand that its difficult for thecwardens to deal with those who abuse the rules because staff cant be every where.

First stay at a club site - fantastic
This was our first stay at a CC site and if all sites are as good as this then we won't be disappointed. Easy check in with friendly staff. Site immaculately tidy and clean. We had a great pitch that was quiet and tucked away. Toilets and showers were very clean, shop was handy for egg and bacon in the morning. Great location easy short walk into Moreton in Marsh. Loved it!

Good Site ...but....
We’ve just returned from 4 nights at the site and the location for Moreton is superb. The site wardens are very pro active, and advised us of the most suitable place to pitch up to get the benefit of both shade & sun during this recent hot weather. 👍🏻 - However the pitches are a lot smaller in general compared to most other Caravan Club sites, and more frustratingly for us was the very reduced dog exercise field now that part of this area is being taken over for wood lodges. - Sadly this led to far more dogs being exercised around the site which in turn created a lot of unnecessary dog barking. There is a large play area which during the time we were on site was used by only 3 children - Maybe part of this area could be utilised for dog exercise & consequently reduce the need for on site dog walking. Other than that the site is to be recommended.
Nice site, friendly wardens
I booked a couple of nights here for a stop over on the way to Wales. When I read the reviews just before setting off I thought I had made a mistake especially as I had a little dog with me. I needn’t have worried, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the site was always neat and tidy and although there were a number of other dogs about it was never an issue.
I would like to return here and spend some time exploring Moreton. As my visit was during the heatwave we were happy to chill and relax.
