New Year Visit 2016

We were drawn back to this site after a previous visit, it is ideally located for a visit to this lovely area. This visit was a late booking for the time of year (New Year 2106) but the CC wardens (Deb & Dave?) were super efficient in keeping us updated with late cancellations in order for us to finalise this visit,We really cannot thank them enough for their time and effort. The site is kept very clean and tidy by these wardens who are very helpful and friendly. It is dog friendly with it's own on site dog walk, which although dogs have to be on a lead is sufficient before the short walk into Minehead and it's great beach and dog (child) friendly pubs and cafe's. The site is worth it's weight in Gold for a visit to Minehead and surrounding areas. We will not hesitate to visit again as soon as we can.

Ticks All The Boxes

Chose this site by default really as nowhere else was open. The site is situated on the outskirts of Minehead in what appears to be an old quarry. Pitching areas are on different levels and some areas are quite tight if you have a large outfit. Easy access from A39 but this means there is some road noise. Lots of day-to-day facilities within walking distance. Good location for visiting Exmoor and the north Devon coast. Adequate dog walk on site and reasonable amount of walks straight from the site. Friendly wardens. Would use again during off peak but wouldn't be my choice during busy periods.

Easy walk into Minehead

Pleasant tiered site not far from Minehead centre. Friendly wardens. Efficient tumble drier! :-) Some road noise but not a problem during my November visit.

Great for an Autumn break

As expected from a Club Site, friendly wardens with great local knowledge and good advice on choosing a pitch. Toilets were spotless. Quite a big site but the layout made it feel smaller ( a good thing)Caravans were well spaced. Dog walk adequate but nowhere they can have a good run. Wildlife including foxes and deer made it interesting walking around in the evenings. Short walk to town.

Nice Time

A very nice site with friendly Staff, if I had to suggest any improvements a Playground for the Kids would be good. But on the whole we will be back

Long weekend

Visited Minehead before. Nothing has changed. Still feel a couple more loos and showers would be needed in the high season. 3 showers and 4 loos don't seem enough for the whole site. Ok for us though as it was very quiet. Warden was battling with falling leaves trying to keep he site clear. The facilities were spotless. Could here road noise but not bothersome. We will visit again such an easy walk into town.
