Lovely first visit

Our first visit here after staying at nearby Tewkesburt a few times. There was a warm welcome and the site has easy access, as long as you dont turn in to the C&CC site which comes first! There were plenty of good sized hardstanding pitches to choose from. The site is sort of divided into half witha hill view and half without. Unsurprisingly the pitches with a view were busier. We wanted two adjacent so went for the non-view side. The trade off is that this part has a superior toilet block! The site has vast area of grass for children to run about and a perfect slope for scooters. Not too steep and not too flat. The site was very quiet, clean and the staff helpful. Other positives: a couple of shower cubicles had amazing power showers (why cant we have more of these?) There is a pub nearby and geocaches if you are interested. Only downside was new arrivals coming in at 11:15 onwards which isn't really the fault of the site but needs addressing as it will only get worse. Thank you

Fantastic

Just got back home after a wonderful week on this site, was very sad to leave. The facilities are amazing, absolutely brilliant if you have a dog (This was our puppy's first camping trip and he loved it) The staff are so friendly and the views are beautiful. We will definitely be coming back here very soon. Sue, Ian and Leo Hackett xx

Excellent site

This was our first time in our motorhome, the staff on site were very welcoming and helpful. The grounds, showers & toilets are spotlessly clean. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. We walked to Hanley Swan many times (about 15 mins away) where there is a shop, butchers and pub. There are plenty of nice walks - the shop in Hanley Swan sells a 'Walks in the The Hanleys' guide which helped us. Being novices when we came to leave we realised we had managed to run the starter battery flat. The staff were so helpful, in particular one of the groundsmen who brought a charger to our van and helped us get started.

Wonderful site in a great location

As always at C and C Club sites, friendly, helpful and welcoming wardens who keep the site and facilities in immaculate condition Good size hard standing pitches. Many large grass pitches which were not in use in March Within easy walking distance of the village of Hanley Swan which has an excellent pub/ restaurant Many places of interest nearby - a really good base for visits to stately homes/museums, interesting towns, walks on the Malvern Hills, cricket and racing in Worcester The site could be improved by:- the introduction of serviced pitches, more powerful showers (what is it with C and C Club sites and their 'dribbling' showers??!!( and more tarmacked walkways to the shower/toilet facilities. I guess the facilities may become a little stretched when the site is full

Our umpteenth visit

Domestic circumstances (house move) have led to our spending a lot of time at Malvern this summer. On each visit, we've found our fondness for the site has grown. The spacious feel, the views of the hills, the facilities and friendly staff are a good base to start from. Add the attractions offered by the local area, especially the town of Malvern itself and you would struggle to find a better place to spend your leisure time. Perhaps that's why we're moving to Malvern!

LOVELY BIG SITE

This was our first visit to Malvern Hills and right at the end of the season. We found it nice and clean and the wardens were very friendly and helpful. How refreshing to have the toilet blocks cleaned early afternoon when you are out and about rather than late morning when you need them! We didn't have time to walk the local hills, but found the surrounding area to be well worth exploring with some nice local villages and towns. How cosy to sit by an open fire sipping a coffee in Upton upon Severn! We tried the local Swan pub in Hanley Swan as it was much recommended but found the food a bit pricey. My wife had the pollack and chips off the "pub classics" menu which was fine, but £13.50 is a fair bit for fish and chips. I had the "roasted loin of local cotswold venison" for £19.75, thinking it would be a steak rather than a handful of small medallions on some steamed greens. Maybe I am not cultured enough - I suppose you would call it nouvelle cuisine. We will definitely be returning to the Malvern Hills site as it is an excellent base to explore the area.

What a gem

This was our first visit to the site and as it is only 80 minutes from home I cannot believe we have not been before. Stunning with the trees turning to reds and golds. Easy to find and well located. Very well kept and helpful wardens too (aren't they always though). Quick and easy to Malvern and Worcester. The leaflet does mention that you could spend a day at the Hop Pocket. Hmm, you might only need an hour or so unless you stop for a cup of tea!

A Favoutite

Always a pleasure to visit the Malvern site. The facilities are very clean with super showers. For motorhomes the water point is easily accessed as you enter the site. The wardens work hard to keep the site looking tidy and in October the trees on site are such beautiful colours. The Three Counties showground is just 5 minutes away by car and local shops are easily reached at Barnards Green. As always we enjoyed our stay and will be back.
