Nothing to complain about on the site

I can't fault either the site or its staff. Unlike Ramslade where we had been the previous week, BOTH toilet blocks were still in use. Great! but the experience was spoiled by the questionable habits of fellow campers vis-a-vis WCs and dog fouling.   I know that doesn't amount to a review of the site but it does suggest more notices be erected to remind Club members of their responsibilities.   I just wish this great site was nearer the Malvern Hills so we could walk there instead of needing a car/bus. But we did have a terrific day out by bus in Worcester. Highly recommended ....like York but nicer!

Midway Stop

First time at this site, will not be the last. A beautifully kept site in lovely surroundings. Very helpful wardens. A good site for breaking a journey or visiting the surrounding area

what a lovely site

This is the first time we have been on this site and we were not disappointed. After a stressful main caravan holiday at a non CC site (due to a recommendation of a non CC site) we found Malvern Hills CC site 2 weeks ago just what the doctor ordered. We stayed for 6 nights and decided to pitch on the grass close to the entrance with a view of most of the site with the Malvern Hills as a backdrop. On the first evening we were treated to a sunset over the hills. The facilities were good, especially with the newer toilet block, a good play area if you have children. Hanley Swan village is just a short stroll away (with a lovely pub). Overall a very relaxing holiday in a good location. I am looking forward to returning to this site when we can next year.

Lovely site

Spent 2 nights here either side of a Cornwall holiday. First time we’ve had a non awning pitch. Actually we would have managed to fit an awning on and parked the car across the front of the pitch – well off the road and grass. It was a bigger pitch than the awning pitches at Moreton in Marsh! Pleasant welcome both times, all facilities were of a very good standard and very clean. We will return and use this well located site again to walk all the Malvern hills. On the afternoon we arrived we parked behind the hills, walked up to Worcester Beacon and ate a picnic up there surrounded by beautiful views. Just perfect!

Very big but still good

Just spent a long weekend here. The site is large, the biggest we've been to I think. It is very clean and well kept, but there are no trees or hedges or bushes to break up the huge expanse and when it is full, it can feel a bit like a housing estate. Some reviews complain about the dog walk. I don't know what these people are expecting. Will you need a tent and provisions in order to navigate all the way around it? No. Will a lap of it wear out your husky? No. But it is still the best onsite dog walk we've seen. Secluded, well used, not muddy, plenty of poo bins (others around the site too). The only problem with it that I could see is the very noisy metal gate leading to it which must annoy people pitched next to it when dog owners are dragged out of bed by their mutt for a 6am pee. We had a lovely lunch at the nearby Swan pub which makes a point of being extremely dog friendly, but you must book, it is popular.

Best Club site

Have stayed here on many occasions and we have never been disappointed. The site is always well maintained and the facilities are spotless. The wardens are friendly and always willing to help and are flexible on times when leaving providing the site is not full. The location is ideal as the 3 counties show ground is just a few minutes drive away and of course the Malvern Hills are a great backdrop with spectacular views. No wonder it is called little Switzerland.

Very quiet for a large site

Just returned from a week stay. Was apprehensive about such a large site. But is kept very clean, facilities very good and adequate small woodland dog walk on site. Everyone on site was quiet..about 60% full at time. Easy access to site following site recommended route, and central for many attractions.

Wonderful Stay

A superb 10 night stay on a top class club site with the best wardens we have ever had, very friendly, helpful and hardworking. Nice to have 2 facility blocks with staggered cleaning times, an excellent location for exploring the Malverns or even further afield. Pitches kept in good condition on a tidy and clean site, we shall return.

2 nights away from it all

Revisited this site after a couple of years. Lovely views and sunsets. The only complaint was that we were near to the lower toilet block and the door to the Gents constantly banged after each man that visited it! Will keep away next time as it was annoying in the night. Otherwise superb our favourite still ??

Long weekend and visit to three counties showground

Lovely site so very clean, well laid out with good level pitches, we liked the idea of picking your own spot and then telling the wardens where we were. Wardens what a friendly bunch they are, we chose to stay here rather than at the showground because we wanted the extra day the showground could not offer, its a good walk to the showground but all on footpaths so safe enough.
