Fantastic staff!

This is one of our favourite sites - based on location and the staff. It is small and not the most scenic site but it is very well located. Just up the road from Arundel with castle and boating lake. Littlehampton beach is good for young children - with rides, crabbing and plenty to keep them amused. Do visit West Beach when the tide is out as it turns into a vast sandy beach. Also recommend Goring and Ferring beaches too. Staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating. The children had a wonderful time. There is some road noise on the pitches nearest the road - so choose your pitch carefully.

Enjoyable stay

This is one of our go to sites it never disappoints. Site is always clean and wardens are very friendly and helpful unfortunately there are people who do not follow rules of the site ie speed limits and driving the wrong way round. It never ceases to amaze us how many drivers do not adhere to the speed limit even when towing these rules are there for a reason. Can't wait to return later in year.

What a gem

As well as being a lovely site the staff could not have been more accommodating. During my visit I had to stay in Worthing Hospital for 24hrs. Mark and the team went above and beyond to help my partner and I. I will never be able to thank them enough, not that I have any doubt they would do the same for anyone. As the man said " I'll be back "

Short break

We chose the site as we hadn't stayed in the area before. After reading previous reviews, we thought it was a good location to explore. The welcome was up to the usual standard. It would have been useful if we had been told which pitches were still free. We ended up riding round, and found ourselves at the exit without a barrier key. We was allowed out, but due to the tight turn, we had to go out of the site turn left to the roundabout and back into the site. We ended up on pitch 7. Lovely large pitches, with full sun. The only downside is the road noise, train track near, which we was aware of, but also a building opposite the dog walk was obviously a business of some sort, constant drilling sawing and hammering. It wasn't a peaceful break unfortunately. A trip to Arundel Castle is a must, It is well worth the money to visit the castle and its amazing gardens. The site itself is pristine, the toilets immaculate. The wardens certainly work hard. Which is why it was full for the duration of our stay. Loved the site and location, but not sure I would stay again as I like a peaceful location.

Super little site

Just returned from spending 16 nights on this site. Had a lovely grass pitch (59) couldn't have been better. Wardens always happy and very helpful and site immaculate. Loadsto see and do locally especially if you like walking. Hopefully we will return in September.

Littlehampton Gem

We visited Littlehampton for the first time this week. What a wonderful site, well placed for exploring, for walking and for cycling. We were visiting Goodwood, it was easy to travel each day from the site. We found plenty of places to eat both in Littlehampton and Arundel covering a range of tastes. We ordered a lobster and crab from the harbour fish cabin which we picked up on route to Goodwood and had the lunch of a lifetime. The estuary had lots of activity around it and the sea front was flat and pleasurable to walk along. The site itself was spotlessly clean, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and always had a smile. We had a great break and will certainly return.

Great site well placed

Booked this site last minute chasing the better weather in May.Lovely site with the exception of the railway crossing a couple100 meters down the road!!!. We stayed on pitch 4 which is extra large but right next to the road so expect some road noise however it didn't disturb us too much. Toilets are up to the usual club standard and are kept spotlessly clean. We will use this site again but will move more further from the road next time.

Busy site

Site almost full at the time of our visit, facility block well kept, always clean & tidy. Pizza van visited whilst we were there. Morrisons is a few mins towards Littlehampton for food, fuel & also has LPG pump. Play area & a dog walk on site. Some road noise. We visited Arundel WWT & RSPB at Pulborough Brooks which has free car park, café & shop. There is a charge to walk around the reserve.

Relaxing break

Very warm welcome at this site. They are very happy to help. Clean and tidy, can't wait to go back. So much to do in the area as well. Thank you Mark for making our holiday so restful.

South Coast Break

The entrance to this site was interesting - with the new club logo not as visible as the old bright green, we nearly missed this tucked into a side road. Once in we were greeted pleasantly by the staff and told to drive round for a pitch - no suggestions made. The roads in the site are very narrow, so when stopping, to look, you block the roads. The site was very busy, as expected on a Bank Holiday weekend and there were lots of disabled reserve pitches which limited the choice even more. We ended up doing a full turn of the site and then due to the narrow road and the positioning of the exit barrier could not turn back into the site but had to go back to the road, round mini roundabout and then back in, bit of a palaver for a tired driver. Would have been better to have been given an idea of free pitches. Having found a pitch on reversing from the narrow road we were hampered by the loose stones on the edge of the hardstanding pitch which had not been compacted. The site had all the facilities you would expect and they were kept clean by the wardens. There is a lot of road noise if you are at the hardstanding end of the site. The walk to Littlehampton is further than you think and not picturesque. There is a small shop on site but does not stock eggs or bacon but there is a small shop and a larger supermarket near by. There is a park for the children but it is small and they often ended up in the dog walk area to play. There did not appear to be the usual friendliness on this site - you would get the occasional good morning from other guests but the wardens pretty much kept themselves to themselves. Nice clean site all the facilities you need - would I go back, probably not.
