This is the first time using this site and found it very clean and tidy. The toilets and showers were spotless. The site is ideally located to explore the surrounding area but a little too far to walk to the beach for us. The kids enjoyed crabbing at the mouth of the harbour. We took our two grandsons to the Old Docks at Portsmouth twice. The first time to visit the Victory, the Mary Rose, and the second time to have a guided tour of a submarine and to visit the Warrior. One entry fee covers all year as often as you like. Our ticket allowed us to take three children at any time and different children if needs be. We also visited an Air museum and Herstmanzeux Science Park. The boys aged 7 and 10 were fascinated with all three attractions and loved the crabbing and the Park on the site where they made lots of friends. I do agree with another review that children and Adults tended to walk through other pitches to get to their own. We did not have that problem as we were on pitch 2 a boundary pitch. However, some people may be put off by the noise of the traffic and train early in the mornings., but it did not bother us. The waste disposal, water taps and dust bin areas were plentiful and conveniently placed throughout the park. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We stayed here over the 2017 Easter Break, the wardens and staff were very friendly and recommended a great pitch when we told them we were new to caravanning. The facilities were spotless and site really well looked after. The location was brilliant for exploring the local area, coast and South Downs only minutes away.
The only slight issue we had was with etiquette where we found groups of kids tearing around on their bikes, short cutting through our pitch (including some adults) and playing hide and seek behind our caravan...but it was the first bank holiday of the season so I'll put it down to general excitement and it wouldn't put us off going again
First time we have used our membership! What a great place to start.
All facilities were clean and working and site was well maintained - on arrival and throughout the busy Easter Weekend when the site was full.
Good facilities and all hook ups worked perfectly etc.
Like a lot of sites could be closer to the beach/centre of town, but the brisk 20 minute walk to town is a more manageable 30mins in reality - but a good way to find the local hostelry's to wine and dine should you be inclined.
Would recommend.
This is a great site. The facilities were very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My family and friends all had a good time. We will be visiting again.
The site is presented well. A little compact with close together on adjacent lines (front to back). Limited space for children to play games other than the playground.
Parking opposite the site entrance causes problems when entering and exiting.
Good location with good supermarket within walking distance
Very well presented site. Facilities are excellent and very clean. Lots of showers and privacy cubicles. Pitches are a good size. Wardens very helpful (as usual). Good playground for children. Bus stops very near to site entrance - about 300 metres either way. Two pubs within 5 minutes walk and both serve food. The town of Littlehampton is a little disappointing. The beach front is good and excellent for families but the town itself is very ordinary. Arundel, which is nearby, is very nice and the castle is well worth a visit although a little expensive. Worthing is quite a nice town with a good seafront. I would definitely recommend this site for families.
Just time back from two days over Easter at Littlehampton club site
Must say the experience was so much easier by Matt Who was on site
Running it when we arrived not knowing not a lot about caravanning he was on the hand and nothing was too much trouble from him .
Excellent site deafly come back again Just like to say big thank you again to Matt
We arrived early, for which we apologised, but found a perfect pitch. The facilities were spotlessly maintained by lovely young Wardens and the grass and hedges so neat and tidy. They even arranged fantastic weather! Yes, you can hear traffic and train noise but you soon ignore it in an ideal location for Arundel and Littlehampton. Buses stop nearby for coastal towns. Local Premier shop for necessaries although excellent Morrisons further along for a larger 'shop'.
Many thanks for a extremely pleasant stay.
First time at this site and only have positive words to say about it. Wardens are very friendly and helpful , showers and toilets are spotless.Great location for Littlehampton , can recommend gong crabbing near harbour park. If you are on site on Friday then you MUST try the Oggies pizza van
