We had a short break at this site in November and although having stayed before it was still a very clean and welcoming site. The showers and toilets were spotlessley clean and although there is a main road at the back the noise is minimal. Itsvery easy to visit the surrounding towns and plenty of restuarants nearby if you dont want to cook in the caravan. All in all a great site and although very close to where we live we will be visiting many more times.
We just stayed 2 nights before leaving for Derbyshire. It was very convenient as it meant just a short journey from Worthing to get there after the Worthing site closed for the season.
Stayed for a couple of nights this week. Our first time at this site but certainly not our last. What a pleasant site, not too large so only one facilties block. This is useful because there are plenty of showers and toilets in one place. We didn't book, on line it didn't look as though there would be a problem mid week! We used it as a base to go to Portsmouth, only half an hour or so away (don't forget the really good park and ride). We plan to go again in a few weeks and visit Petworth. However we're really disappointed to find it closes at the beginning of January, it would have been good to use it again for a base for a visit to Portsmouth.
We were only here for two nights on this occasion but it made a nice change and we enjoyed our stay. Our pitch was level so nice not to have to fiddle with levelling blocks.
Just returned from spending 7 nights. Lovely spotless site.
Wardens very helpful told me which pitches got the afternoon sun and which were quite.
Will be returning after the new year.
Visited here last weekend, very well maintained by the wardens who worked quietly in the background. The toilets were as we expect from the Caravan Club. We were prepared for a little noise by some other reviews and it was as we expected. We picked a site away from the main road which was a good move. Will definitely visit again.
A lovely site; always a very warm welcome with friendly helpful staff.
We stayed 2 nights; a lovely, long walk into Littlehampton, we are returning again soon.,
We returned to the site for a second time this year. Great welcome and pristine facilities. We particularly liked the availabilityof guides for local walks to,take away from the information centre.
Pitch availability was hard standing only for the Autumn and this meant that the standard pitches available were some distance from facilities but overall a site we would happily use again.
We were due to stay for 3 nights at this site but ended up staying for 5. There is so much you can do from here. The bus stop is nearby so gave access to many places. We walked along the seafront to Rustington and got the bus back, did the circular walk around the sand dunes, caught the bus to Arundel and visited the castle (well worth the money) and on our last day caught the bus then the train to Chichester. The 700 coastliner bus offers a great service from Brighton to Portsmouth. The site was immaculate: obviously well looked after by the friendly, helpful wardens. We can thoroughly recommend this site.
We love this site. So much to do in the surrounding area, harbour, beach (sand and stone) pick your own farm and the beautiful South Downs. It's a perfect location, good, reasonably priced restaurants (especially Sun Wah Chinese take away just 10 mins from the gate) the site is clean, lovely large pitches and it's simply delightful. Excellent area for dogs. Can't recommend it enough.
