Almost perfect...

Stayed here for 1 week earlier this month. Wardens couldn't have been more conscientious, helpful and the condition of this site is a credit to a hard-working team. Facilities spotless and in excellent condition - possibly one of the best we've visited in our 35 years of membership. Pity about the location close to a main road with traffic noise caused mainly by local residents, particularly the "boy-racers", both motorists and bikers. There's also a level crossing a few hundred yards away and the backing-up of traffic queues with starting up of engines and changing of gears only aggravates the problem. Nothing the wardens or club can do about this but potential visitors should be aware.

Littlehampton.............perfect

The wardens were extremely helpful and friendly. The site was immaculate. Not much more to say as it was near perfect. The only issue I have, and it’s beyond local control, is the poor WiFi. If CAMC are going to charge then it should work and have reliable signal strength. If that can’t be achieved the it should be free.

First Class

Excellent from start to finish. The reception was very friendly and fully welcoming. The site is immaculate in every aspect - a credit to the staff. We will be returning when we next visit the south coast. Thank you.

Helpful

We were very impressed with the wardens on this site, nothing was to much trouble always cheerful and had time to chat about the area. During our stay we had a storm come through it blew the pegs out of the awning while we were out, the warden put them back and secured the awning. I only found out because another member told me, about this good deed. We need more wardens like the ones on this site because there fast becoming hard to find. The whole camp was kept in really good order and very clean. As for the boy racers i only heard them once. Well done to all

Pleasant site in a noisy area

The site is well maintained, clean and pleasant in itself. However the adjacent noisy road with "boy racers" was quite deafening at times. Not really a site suitable for relaxing around the van, and I would suggest that it is not the best for taking your dog. There is a small dog walk but nothing else in the vicinity. However the information room does contain some recommendations on where to walk your dog, so that is helpful. There is plenty to do in the area such as Arundel Castle (the grounds are beautiful and not scruffy at all), Pulborough Brooks RSPB, Chichester, Brighton, and if you don't mind a 40 minute drive to Portsmouth to visit the Historic Dockyard it really is a fantastic day out for all the family young and old. Use the excellent Park and Ride just off the M27. Littlehampton is ok for a brief visit to walk along the prom. We have used grass pitches mostly this year but would have liked a hard standing at Littlehampton due to the ongoing wet weather. Unfortunately there were none available and we had to use a very sad looking grass pitch, which got sadder throughout the week. We noted the amount of service pitches next to the facilities block, and noted also those occupants still using the showers, dishwashing etc, which does not really justify for us the investment in service pitches when a few more general hard standings would be useful. We enjoyed our stay here but would probably not return.

Littlehampton , it's okay

Easy to find, although I don't care for the location, in the middle of a built up area even though it is near the coast. The barrier was broken but the warden explained and we followed the sign to the entrance barrier and the folk on site were aware of the problem so we all kept within the speed limit. The dog walk was adequate , no kids so can't comment. All facilities up to CC standard. The hard standings looked very nice but we were on a grass pitch, our 'van is 24 ft. and just fitted on the pitch . We had to use blocks as the pitch was uneven. Not a lot of room between pitches back to back and the folk were using other pitches to turn around etc. You can't take dogs into Arundel Castle or onto the beaches , in fact the area wasn't very dog friendly, so although everything was pleasant we wont go there again

Chaos

No-one sure which way to go, with a broken barrier. No signs displayed, to go any way on roads and some fast drivers...... A RUDE WARDEN finished the stay off. Not our best break by along way..................... Nice area to visit though and central location for shops and beach.

Fantastic staff!

This is one of our favourite sites - based on location and the staff. It is small and not the most scenic site but it is very well located. Just up the road from Arundel with castle and boating lake. Littlehampton beach is good for young children - with rides, crabbing and plenty to keep them amused. Do visit West Beach when the tide is out as it turns into a vast sandy beach. Also recommend Goring and Ferring beaches too. Staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating. The children had a wonderful time. There is some road noise on the pitches nearest the road - so choose your pitch carefully.

Enjoyable stay

This is one of our go to sites it never disappoints. Site is always clean and wardens are very friendly and helpful unfortunately there are people who do not follow rules of the site ie speed limits and driving the wrong way round. It never ceases to amaze us how many drivers do not adhere to the speed limit even when towing these rules are there for a reason. Can't wait to return later in year.
