What a lovely site to stay on, only a few minutes drive from the surrounding towns and the wardens were peasant and eager to help with any problems you may have. The shower / toilet block was clean and well maintained. Good sized pitches with ample room for van, awning and vehicle. One of the few sites we have stayed at that provides electrical hook up for out of hours arrivals. Will definitely be staying here again.
Very pleasantlysurprised
Just prior to the visit there was a letter in the club magazine saying that the facilities were looking tired. So was somewhat apprehensive about using this site, but as I live in Cornwall it seemed a sensible overnight stop place. Tucked away from the bustle of Brean and Highbridge, what a great little site it turned out to be. The facilities were fine and well clean and presented, the warden team were friendly and welcoming. It was great to be able to take a walk to the beach, and the bit you arrived at was not crowded out by the number of static caravans in this area. Having worked in this area I was aware that there is a high density of statics in the area. but well done to the club for keeping this location peaceful, and thanks to the wardens for the great job they do here. I will certainly use the site again

Surprising !
Surprising? Well we were a little apprehensive that the site would not prove to be a good 'stop over' on our way down to Cornwall. Well it is! In all aspects the site is well up to CC standards and more improvements to the facilities are due shortly. It is very accessible from the M5. The walk via local roads and the dunes onto the beach is very pleasant and recommended. Six miles of sand with sweeping views to the Devon and Welsh coasts. On a satellite view of the area you might think that the coast is saturated by static caravan and holiday sites. Well it is but it does have an appealing side. It would probably remind yourself of the east coast of parts of East Anglia. Well worth a longer stay with many local attractions if you have car transport.

A well laid site offering spacious pitches.
This is one of our favourite sites located close to Burnham and the fantastic beaches of Weston Super Mare.
We had an enjoyable few days here and our wardens Sian and his wife were helpful during our stay and very cheerful. Thank you from the "Vanmaster/ Mercedes" couple!
The facilities were clean and warm which is what you come to expect from the Club...
We can recommend this site and next year it will be further enhanced with the addition of new washroom facilities and Super pitches .
Thank you for a very pleasant stay.
nice little site
We stopped here for a Friday and Saturdy on our way further South. The facilities block was lovely and clean, like the whole site in fact, and the pitch was nicely maintained and a good size. We were adjacent the statics behind the site from which there was some noise early on the Saturday night but this quietened down at a reasonable time. As others have said it's not far to beach which is great for the dogs, unlike the tiny dog walk on site.
The pub along the coast road to the North was also dog friendly and the food was ok.
Glastonbury and Clarks Village were an easy drive away which we visited, but so too were Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge, so a revisit will be required as we found it a nice little site - just follow the instructions in the book as satnavs take you via the coast road and the lane at that end is very narrow, as we found when walking the dogs!
Great site
Excellent open, sunny, peaceful site, easy access, large hard standing pitch, immaculately kept grounds. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities block is exceptionally clean, it may be rather dated but the showers have a temperature control, good flow and best of all no dreaded push button, (let's hope the planned new ones are the same). Good easily accessed motorhome service point. The beach is about a 15 minute walk, as is a large pleasure park which has a Sunday market, and a small supermarket opposite. There is a bus stop 5 minutes walk away on the main road to Burnham and Weston, though the service can be a bit erratic. Would certainly use this site again.

Very Nice
Lovely, clean site. Toilet blocks were spotless and the wardens and staff very helpful. A little out of the way but that didn't spoil it. Would we go again "yes without hesitation"
Such a nice surprise!!
Firstly, this site was beautifully kept by very friendly and helpful wardens. Congratulations to them because not all caravaners leave the facilities in a clean condition but what was impressive was that the warden did extra checks to make sure all was well. The site was a lovely surprise, attractive. A little aircraft noise but not anything to put you off. Facilities a little dated but as I said kept very clean. We would not hesitate to recommend and would stay again. Wifi signal is not good, don't know why it is classed as a gold' standard site, perhaps this needs reassessing?

pleasant and relaxing
Needs a bit of a make over with the toilet/bathroom facilities however pitch sizes are generous and well kept. Have been here a couple of times and will keep on coming. The dog walk is not ideal for exercising and though there is the dog friendly beach and Dune's area a short stroll away, the road has no pavements so you have to keep your wits about you as its a bit hectic during the busy times of the day
Great start
Hurn lane was a great starting point for a fist time caravaners
Everybody was very friendly and helpful
