Fantastic Site !!!!
We stayed for a week in May 2017 and I have not a bad word to say about Hillhead.
Such a friendly, clean and beautifully manicured site.
Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Top-notch!
Following glowing reports from friends our expectations were high but were exceeded. We were looking for a relaxing few days and we got them in spades. Our pitch was a single with a fantastic view. From arrival to departure the staff seemed intent on making our stay a success. The facilities were of high standard and clean. The whole experience demands a return in short order!

the sun was glorious and the site was perfect. Kept clean and tidy by very efficient wardens and assistant wardens. We look forward to coming again in the summer.
It was our first visit to Hillhead, we have circled this site in our books as a site we will visit again.
The shower/toilet facilities were immaculate and the park was beautiful. All staff were kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
Thankyou all for a very enjoyable 9 days.
Great site and really good team despite some awful weather
This is out third visit to this site, on this occasion we were fortunate enough to get a pitch with a view of the sea, sadly on several days the weather blotted out the view. The site was looking as good as ever, the facilities were very clean, and having two toilet blocks with differing cleaning times is a great help. The staff were very friendly and busy keeping the site well presented, a big thank you to them for that and all their hard work. For the first time we used the catering facility at Nico's and have to say how good the food was and the portions were excellent too, no wonder it was popular with the other people on the site. What more can I say but a big thank you for all who work at Hillhead for yet another very enjoyable stay
Wonderful
To be honest I haven't read any previous reviews before writing this so I could be repeating what other people have already said and if they said its excellent I totally agree. Its a beautiful site, all the little hedges around the pitches make it so private and sheltered from any wind, considering its right on top of a hill it didn't appear windy at all. The facilities on site are 5 star, the toilet and shower block were as normal for a club site, very clean and warm. The club bar and restaurant was a very pleasant surprise, the food was excellent, value and choice. We were very impressed with the free entertainment at the weekends. All the staff were very friendly and and helpful. The bus service was great, we relied on this as we were staying in a motorhome. We are cyclists, my partner extremely experienced and well used to mountainous terrain for me it was tough both the route back from Kingswear and the 2 options from Brixham but I knew it would be as I had studied the map, I felt I earned every one of my Devon cream teas and glasses of prosecco!
short break
This was a short visit close to home to enjoy a few days away. We made good use of the buses which stop right outside and are very frequent. The walk down to Kingswear was very pleasant and not too strenuous. We visit Colleton Fishacre which is just down the road but there are many other trust properties which are only a short car or bus journey away.
A lovely site with very good views from many of the pitches.

new years eve night's here with my new partener who had never done caravanning before. . Entertainment food service first class .
we are going again on16 may for 9 night's with a cousin &wife there first time can't wait

Exellent site.
Me and my partner went for the bank holiday for a couple of nights as it is only an hour up the road but far enough to have a great time.site was exellent.staff were so helpful and freindly.everything was clean and tidy club house was great with good food and entertainment.we will deffo be going back soon as well.

Best site we've been too
What a wonderful site. We have visited Hillhead on numerous occasions and are already booked to return. This is the best and cleanest site visited. The wardens are all exceptional and get on with keeping the site tip top with the absolute minimum intrusion to your stay. They even recognise us and remember our last stay and even the pitch we were on - awesome! See you soon - 5 stars every time!!
