Excellent site

This is our second visit to this site and we had no regrets in returning. The site facilities are clean and tidy, the pitches well marked, the location is unbeatable, there is a bus stop right outside the park going into St Ives and a fish and chip van visits serving excellent freshly cooked food.  The wardens and site staff were all friendly and helpful. The site is well placed to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall.  Despite the weather (quite wet!!!) we had a lovely 10 days stay and will be back.

Summer Holiday

This was our first visit to Godrevy Park Caravan Club site and we were glad we did. The site facilities were clean and tidy, the pitches were well marked, the location is unbeatable and best of all the wardens and site staff were all friendly and helpful. A most enjoyable holiday in Cornwall.

Couldn't fault anything about the site. Staff very friendly. Facilities very clean. Although we were given to understand from the site book there was no mention of a bus stop. We were happy to see that there was a stop right outside the site. Took us into St Ives which was lovely.

Trip to Godrevy June 2016

CoolOur first Caravan visit to this site. (two weeks stay)The site is very easy to get to and is well placed for exploring around the area. The bus stops right outside the site for visits to St Ives and from St Ives bus terminal you can get a bus or train to almost anywhere. The toilet block was spotless and although busy this did not cause a problem. Godrevy beach national trust only 10 minutes drive away and from here you can view the seals at the top car park. The wardens were always on hand to help with any questions etc (nice people). We will be back next year.

Excellent site

Great base to explore the North of Cornwall, staff were very friendly and helpful, site was pleasant and other holiday makers were very friendly. Dog walk off site through back gate easy access to the sand dunes. Hayle village had plenty of shops and takeaways.

A lovely holiday on an improved site

We really enjoyed our stay at Godrevy this year due to the vast improvement on site. The trees and bushes have all been pruned and the wardens have added their own floral arrangements. This site does need its toilet block refurbishing however, it was very clean but tired despite the "wet room" flooring in the ladies. Unfortunately the drains in the showers were inadequate. The wardens are excellent in their helpfulness and friendliness and tireless attention to duty looking after the site. The one downfall was the lack of play facilities for the under 5's as on many sites, don't you want families with young children? We love Hayle and will visit many times.

Perfect little site

First time staying here, Wardens are very helpful and pleasant. showers and toilets immaculate! The site is a little gem, lovely kept pitches (not plots lol)  Hardly like to say how lovely and peaceful it was, in case its fully booked when i want to return next year (wink)  being so close to Hayle it was ideal for popping to the shops, also lands end and still had the tranquility of being away from it all and by the sea, the sea was a walk away to be fair, or a car ride if your feeling lazy. I dont have young children anymore, so not sure how child friendly, Park seemed quiet ( which is nice as my kids are both in their 20's, ha)  I will definitely be wanting to return, loved it! thank you so much Godrevy Park :o) x

Could be perfect!

My wife and I stayed during early June (schools half term) and we use the site often as our son and his family live in Hayle.  It's a fabulous site and we love staying there BUT for two minor irritations which nag away at you and slowly turn into something more significant. I've a significant disability and have to use crutches when using the disability shower/toilet facility.  The tiles on the floor are lethal when wet and incredibly dangerous. I'd have thought that non-slip flooring would be a priority for this type of facility? We have two whippets and the one in particular is terrified of fireworks and any loud bangs.  One night (at 1.00am) there was a firework display near the camp-site…bad enough but live and let live!  However the local farmers use shotgun machines which mimic a shotgun going off to frighten birds away from their crops. These blasts start going off from 5.00am and within minutes our dogs are quivering wrecks. Other than those two points, we love the place and it's great to see they have wardens there at the moment who do all they can to help - what a happy bunch they are! The walks to the beaches and accessibility to all the places of interest make this a perfect site…..now I just need to have a word with the local farmer!!
