Our yearly winter stay

Our sister and us always come in the half term to chill out We always are greeted so wonderfully and nothing is any trouble We asked if there was a Chinese takeaway that delivered and within a few minutes of setting up a photo copied menu and phone numbers were delivered to our pitch The cleanliness is amazing the showers amazing the site amazing and wardens Awesome We live this site and will return next year our family as always are on the next pitch to us and always have a fabulous fantastic time Live you Guys Andy & Kat Steer

A surprising site

Gatwick site was not at all what we were expecting! We thought it was a large site, but no, just a small number of touring pitches on a loop around the facilities block. Ok this is surrounded on three sides by a large storage compound, a seasonal pitch/dog walk field, and a large open area which isn't used. We thought it would be noisy being near the airport, but no, the planes could be heard and were a bit loud on takeoff, but after a little while we 'tuned out' the regular roar. All went quiet at night so sleep was not disturbed. The wardens were extremely friendly and suggested a pitch to suit our needs, leaving the ones nearer the grass for two families with young children. The only down side from our point of view is that there is nowhere nearby to go for a walk apart from round the site. We only had a short stay and visited national trust Petworth house on a day out (about 20 miles away). A deer park for a long walk, pleasure grounds with spectacular rhododendrons and a house full of paintings by Turner, Gainsborough, Van Dyke, Titian and Bosch

Ideal site to pick up travelling daughter.

Excellent site and location to pick up number 1 daughter from her travels. Staff friendly, facilities very good and much fun had by all tracking and identifying incoming and outgoing planes. Will stay here again.

Waiting for house to go through

Stayed here in Jan & Feb whilst waiting for our house to complete , although the planes are noisey the whole stay was very much improved by the ever helpful temporary wardens Colin & Christine, they were always busy and as a result the toilet/showers and the whole site was impeccably clean. Caravan club, Many of your wardens can learn alot from these two!

First Club site stay - excellent service

We chose this site as it's close to my son and convenient for onward travel to Dover. Gatwick site is under the flight path X quite noisy during the day but fine at night. A beautifully kept site with friendly and helpful wardens. We will certainly come again!

Great Site

I have used this Site a few times over the last few months. It is a lovely little Site. The Wardens, Sue and Ade, are really great. I really appreciate the assistance they gave me during my Stays. They keep the Site clean and tidy, and are always ready to help you. The Shower and Toilet facilities are always clean and warm. The Power in those Showers!! Wow! Always Hot water available. For those who don't like noise, take earplugs. Don't forget, you are next to an Airport. Nothing kept me awake though. Crawley is close by, so plenty of Shops available, for all your needs. I know, if I need to stay in this area again, I will be more than pleased to stay at this Site. Thank you Sue and Ade. Des

Great Location

Centrally located for many interesting places. Although close to the runway, noise was not a big issue & the central location made the visit very interesting & worthwhile. We will not hesitate to visit again in future.

We have stayed on this site a couple of times mainly just to get the motorhome out for an airing,the site is up to the usual caravan club standards very clean and well kept,I think the site is very good for plane spotters it is very noisy during the day no night flights to worry about. The town of Crawley is close a ten min car drive away.

Excellent site

We stayed at this site for only one night on our way to Dover. It's a perfect stopover, plane spotting is a real bonus. The wardens were very helpful, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Facilities were spotless. We will certainly use this site again.
