Lovely week

We had a lovely week here 😊, the site was clean and well kept . We were lucky as it was fairly empty so shower block never busy . The nearby beach is excellent for dogs 🐶 and lovely costal walks . Also very handy for Tenby and Pembroke Castle which is a must !!! Very good value and dog friendly 🐕🐕. A great base to visit Pembrokeshire , we were very happy with our stay 👍👍👍and will hopefully visit again

Great few days away.

Stayed here for 3 nights over the Easter break. First time to the site and was very pleased! The site was spotlessly clean and very quiet. The play area is very small but the beach is a stones throw away so it really wasn't an issue. The toilet block was faultlessly clean and the grounds keepers were very polite and helpful with direction for he local area etc. The grass pitches were closed when we were there so the site seemed extremely tranquil. This was great but I'm sure it would be just as nice when full. Not a complaint but a warning, I stayed on a service pitch and underestimated the length of waste tube and Ariel cable I needed. This may well be due to the fact I'm a new-be. So bring plenty. Fantastic site and already looking to book again.

Freshwater East

We spent two nights here and the site was lovely. The facilities were immaculate and the hardstanding pitches level and easy to access. The nearby beach was spectacular and if there were any issues it would only be that there were no views from the site.

Great start to the season

A smashing location right by the beach so no parking charges. A well maintained site ideal for families small play area but no matter the beach is the play area, The new shower toilet block should have been bigger not enough toilets or wash rooms. Some members need to remember to clean the sink after shaving, and use the brush in the toilet and not leave them dirty. (When i joined the club some 18 years ago it was unheard of to find either a sink or toilet left in an unsatisfactory state, after all ITS NOT THE WARDENS JOB TO CLEAN THEM.

Not bad at all

We stayed here for 5 nights over the Easter half term. Meeting the warden on arrival was brief, we were told to pick any pitch and let them know which one we chose next time we were passing. The road markings are indeed faded, however, they're not illegible and we found them easy enough to follow. The speed bumps are a little severe and plentiful, I've no intention of speeding on a campsite and they made me cringe a bit pulling the van over them. Didn't see anyone driving too fast but did note one driver going against the one way. We were on a gravel hard standing which was plenty big enough but sloped away quite a lot. The rear legs on the van were fully extended to level it out with the hitch nearly on the floor so blocks would be handy, no drama though. The awning went up and the ground took hard standing pegs OK, only bent one or two. We did get a little annoyed by the noise on a few days. The grass was being mowed a LOT and the wardens use a small sit on tractor to collect the rubbish etc. I understand they're all jobs that need doing but on a few days it felt as though engines were running all day. Also the play area was hideously noisy on a few evenings with kids screaming until gone 9pm which really detracted from the tranquility...I know I know, Easter half term, kids etc...it's to be expected, it's just an observation. The shower blocks and toilets are fantastic, obviously recently refurbished to a very high standard. I noted a lack of toilets in the gents but it wasn't an issue. The location is very nice, the beach is just a short walk away and great for kids. LOTS of dogs about though and not being a dog lover, found them a bit of a pest, jumping up on people when soaking wet and covered in sand. There's no shops in walking distance though, so be sure to stock up.

Site grew on us

Hi Stayed here for 4 nights over the Easter Hols with Wife, daughter and dog. Great location by beach and toilets/showers are fantastic. Put off initially by the number of grey gravel hard standing pitches (no grass pitches in use at this time) with very little grass around them so felt we were in a car park. Too much gravel then spills onto the main paths and roads so childrens biking/scootering a bit bumpy. It did grow on us though due to it's tranquility and great location, staff were also lovely. Cheers

FANDABIDOSIE LONG EASTER BREAK

First time of staying here. Beautiful site in every way. Location to beach was our main draw as have puppy who loves the beach. Dog friendly and very clean. Just be watchful of the steam with blue green algae. Spotless site. Wardens very professional and approachable. DISAGREE with other comment re speed bumps SITES NEED THEM as there are still those who think its ok to ignore speed limits!!! Usually ones with little ones themselves. Would say need to repaint the NO ENTRY sign as people blatently ignoring it even when towing their vans!!! Come on guys/galls obey the rules or we will loose these fandabidosie sites. Your on holiday so CHILL!! Would be fab site to be open all year. We will be back. Sian Dave and Poppy from Hereford
