Great Week

While it is a busy site it is still quiet our grandchildren loved it and the area around. The site is immaculate and the wardens are really helpful

Another good visit

Having visited this site on a number of occasions this trip was no less enjoyable from the welcome to leaving everything first class even though very busy.

Welcoming and very pleasant site

Beautiful clean site. Wardens very friendly and helpful. Beautiful walk round the loch. Great kids play area!  (Shame it's not actually in the caravan site but located right next to it. Is a hit with the kids but can be very noisy and  busy with locals using it too.

This club site deserves all the plaudits it receives!

Clean and tidy site, toilets are how they should be, spotless, bright and Radio 2 ( great choice ! ). Wardens are pleasant, hard working and dedicated to make your stay enjoyable.Good size pitches, plenty of room for caravan, car and awning. This site is a great hub for touring the Angus area. Glamis Castle,House of Dun and Barry Mill are only a short drive away. The loch next to the site is a lovely circuit walk, with or without a dog ! Also the play park was well used by children staying at the site as well as local kids. PERFECT !

Holiday 2016

We arrived for a 4 night stay at Lochside and on arrival we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming warden. The site is located within a stones throw of all the facilities of the town of Forfar and we enjoyed the many walks round the loch which you can access through a 'code lock' gate. There is a municipal children's play area within 'earshot' of the site which can be a little noisy sometimes but nothing too bad and children have to play. The site facilities were spotlessly clean and the whole site is well maintained however there is only one toilet block and during the cleaning period there is no alternative and the cleaning period is a little too long but its not that much of a problem this day and age. On the whole a really nice and relaxing site and I would definitely make a return visit.

Great Little Site

This is a lovely little site on the Banks of Forfar Loch, perfect for dog walking, a good 2.5 mile stretch around the loch on good paths. Very close to Forfar town centre  and supermarkets , Wardens very helpful and facilities spotless

Lovely open camp site.

Stayed here two weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Dog walk on site which is great. Well kept site with clean toilets and shower block. Plenty eateries nearby and lots to see and do in surrounding countryside.

Excellent all round site

First time up at Forfar, straight forward road and approach, fantastic walks for dogs on the doorstep, great variety of shops and eateries within a few minutes walk, site kept to a high standard, staff friendly and helpful, great for families, couples and dogs. A great all round site which comes highly recommended and will definitely be on our return list
