This is a really good site. Friendly & helpful welcome on arrival. Site is well laid out with well maintained grounds. Amenities block is modern & spotless. The town centre is nearby & adjacent leisure centre will keep youngsters occupied.
Forfar Lochside
Hi after staying at this site it needs to be reviewed as it is a fantastic site it was always spotless and so were the facilities and very modern. It was great being able to go through a gate from the site straight into the country park with lots to do for all ages. The only thing we found was not many shops open on Sunday's not even a fish and chip shop to be had, however there is plenty of grocery shops about ie Lidl Asda and Aldi so you would never be short of anything and it is also very peaceful . The wardens work very hard to keep the site as tidy and clean as it is, and always have time to say hello as you pass.
One of the Best
Spent three nights here at the end of August.
Located almost in the town but enjoying a tranquil Lakeside location, For far Lochside exhibits the high standards all Club sites should aspire to. The facilities are modern, of a high standard and well maintained. The excellent warden team maintain the highest standards, making a visit to this site a pleasurable experience.
This site is one of the gems on the circuit.
Forfar site
Lovely site by the loch but convenient for the town. Clean and tidy, great toilet block, friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely site
Only at Forfar for 3 nights, but will certainly visit again, excellent well kept site, facilities immaculate, Forfar great for touring area from Dundee to Stonehaven on east coast, also site handy for shops in town 5star
Excellent Forfar
A warm welcome from friendly and helpful staff. Excellent loch side location and only a few minutes walk into town. Toilet and shower block were imaculate and the best i have seen so far. Plenty of walks next to the site and ideal for dogs. Highly recommended.

4 to 5 for Forfar
What a lovely welcome we had in Forfar and such a great location for both adults and children. With the lakeside walks, children's playground and leisure centre next door you can't go wrong. Easy access to the town with a good variety of places to eat out if you so wish. We can recommend the Castle Club and the Indian restaurant. Just a short walk to a few supermarkets and a good local bus service so easy to explore the area. The weather was kind to us too. We had nice relaxing time and hope to return some time in the future. A very enthusiastic and hard working couple keeping the site immaculate.

Long weekend with Grandsons
We stayed at Lochside from Friday 6 th August till Tuesday 10th;our Grandsons joining us from Saturday linchtime till Tuesday morning. This is an excellent site if you have children as there is a very good play area right next door through a secure gate with no roads to cross. Forfar Leisure Centre is just beyond the park although we did not use it,and of course the site is alongside Forfar Loch which is ideal for dog walkers etc.
The town centre is about a 5 minute walk away with a good selection shops and there is a choice of 3 supermarkets within a 5 minute drive of the site.
The only downside to our stay was that the warden used a large, noisy sit-on mower to cut the grass every afternoon from just after Midday to around 5pm,even our local golf course is not cut that
frequently!
Would we stay at Lochside again? Yes,but only if the grass isn't growing!
