Stayed here twice now and both times very happy with all aspects of the site. Clean, tidy, great walls - be careful not to get lost around the park ( we didn’t 🤫🤫😂)
Great for kids/dogs, overall one of the best we’ve stated at.
Many thanks,

Another wonderful visit
We have been to Ferry Meadows quite a few times now and we are never disappointed. The site is well kept and the facilities are well maintained and spotless. The location is great, especially for walking the dogs and there are two cafes nearby where caravan club members receive 10 per cent discount and can earn a free coffee from their loyalty card. The one by the lake allows dogs into a special conservatory area - great when the weather is bad. Notcutt’s garden centre is also nearby where you can visit the cafe for meals or a snack. Dogs are only allowed in the garden centre not the cafe, although there is seating outside. Buses to Peterborough town centre (no 1) runs frequently. You can also visit Baytree Garden Centre and Springfields (shopping outlet) within half an hour’s drive. I can’t finish this review without mentioning the wardens, Dee and Alan. They are very welcoming and helpful at all times. Real treasures.
Spotless Site
This was our fifteenth trip to Ferry Meadows and it never fails to disappoint. The wardens do an exceptional job in keeping the site spotless. When we visited site there were only two sets of wardens instead of the usual four but the site was still immaculate. There is a visit from the fish and chip van on a Friday and Saturday evening. There is plenty to do from here the park is only a five minute walk which offers you plenty to do and if you walk to the end of the access road there is a Beefeater and Garden Centre. The steam train which is next to the site runs mainly at the weekend although it does run during the school holidays.Peterborough has a varied selection of shops and the Cathedral is well worth a visit.Stamford is about twenty minutes away and is very picturesque.
Our son has severe learning difficulties and Alan and Dee always make our stay an enjoyable one.Thank you the site is a credit to you and your team.

Another lovely stay at this well kept site
Ferry Meadows is a great site located only a couple of miles from Peterborough yet set in beautiful parkland with lake and the river Nene within a short walk. The site is well kept, facilities are clean and modern. Pitches are level and well spaced out in between trees.
Wonderful Site
We spent a long weekend here and certainly didn't regret choosing this site , the wardens are friendly and very helpful and keep everywhere spotless ,we stayed on the West side which was lovely. The reception sells lovely cakes also other provisions, one couldn't ask for a nicer site. The surrounding area has plenty of walks, wildlife, things for children to do the Nene vally railway ,and its possible to walk into Peterborough about 3 mls. nearby Stamford is a beautiful old town.We will most certainly be visiting the site again ,thank you to the staff for all your hard work keeping it so nice,we hope to see you again soon.

We will be back
This was our third visit this year and hopefully won't be the last. A lovely site, well kept and maintained, toilet and shower block is immaculate and lovely and warm. The camp shop is well stocked if you forget anything and staff really helpful. Lots to do near the site, ferry meadows country park with fishing, sailing and two cafe's one with a dedicated doggy dining area. Just down the road a golf course, pub and garden centre. Not forgetting a five minute walk to the railway station, Nene Valley railway. Fish and Chip van comes on Wednesday/Friday/Saturday plus the icecream van comes round the site. Hope to return before the weather turns.

Lovely site
Had a short break at Ferry Meadows and would just echo all that has been said before, welcoming staff, clean toilet block, well laid out site, good for access to the Ferry Meadows country park, etc. etc. Looking forward to spending a longer stay on this site. Only thing that we experienced and did not find mentioned elsewhere is that on the Saturday night there was some sort of motor cycle racing going on close by, you could hear the engines and the tannoy announcements. Would not say it spoilt our stay but it was intrusive if sitting outdoors.

Five star resort
We have just spent 4 nights at Ferry Meadows in our motor home we had a brilliant reception from the wardens who had happy faces and were extremely helpful unlike some in Kent which I won’t mention, well organised site with extremely clean toilets. The site itself is only about 100 mtrs from Nene park which is ideal for walks and cycling, we would definitely return.

Lovely clean site
We have been here at least 4 times now. Staff always friendly. Lovely fresh danish pastries daily in shop. Ideal for Nene Valley railway to pop into Peterborough for shopping. Fish & chip van on site some evenings. Pub and garden centre down end of road. TV reception is good with plug in lead. Ideal base for biking or walking/dog walking. It can fit our large Motorhome with ease. Definitely one of my favourite sites.
Great site
Whilst we have only been members for approx 4 years this has to be one of our favourite sites.
The staff are fantastic, always pleasant and willing to pass the time of day regardless of how busy they are and they don't seem to stop working.
As a consequence of the above the site and its facilities are always spotless and clean.
Two great play areas for the kids although as far as I am aware one of them does close for a few months during the winter.
Plenty of things to do in the area with it being based in a country park and safe bike riding trails.
Highly recommended
