Great site

Stayed here for two nights over New Year in our campervan. The site is in a great location at the edge of Dulverton, with the pubs, shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. We enjoyed some great walks from the site and so it was perfectly situated for us. Despite the site being full on both nights we were there, including New Years Eve, it still felt quiet and peaceful. The wardens were really friendly, the welcome very warm, The facilities were spotless. All in all, a great site.

First stay at Exmoor House site

We stayed for 4 nights on this site. First impressions were very good, clean and well presented site. We had to park at an angle so one of the staff, a lovely gentleman, unfortunately I cannot remember his name, was extremely helpful, even getting the site tractor to help us position the caravan. The area is beautiful and the site is in a superb position for access to the beautiful surrounding attractions and moors. Within easy walking distance are all the amenities you could want in the lovely town with some excellent places to eat and drink. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you to all the staff for what is obviously their hard work, as the facilities on site were excellent and very clean. Connie and Sandie

GREAT SITE

We have visited this site twice now, and each time we thoroughly enjoy it here. The site wardens are welcoming and pleasant. The facilities are also very clean and the wardens are doing a good job here. This is a lovely place to unwind for some peace and quite. There is also some lovely pubs/restaurants that are also close by. Jason & Karen Mair

Another great stay at Exmoor House

This is our second visit to Exmoor House and was once again fantastic. The location of the site is perfect for everything, walk into Dulverton and perfect location for touring Exmoor. The added bonus this time was the arrival of the new wardens, Debbie and Keith. What a lovely couple. Nothing was too much trouble and not only did they help us out, but saw them constantly helping others. The site was spotless. Thank you Debbie & Keith. We will certainly be back later in the year.

New wardens

We have been going to Exmoor House for 16 years now ,so we obviously love it! The new wardens Keith and Debbie are so welcoming and it makes such a difference to have that. We love the surrounding area as do our dogs. We love it so much already booked in for June!

Excellent

Although this site is quite tricky to get to, it is definitely worth the effort. It is situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Dulverton, which itself is in the heart of the countryside on the Devon/Somerset border. The wardens were very friendly and the site offers everything you need if your wish is for a quiet few days away. When we went my wife was incapacitated due to injury, but although she was not able to walk, the ambience of the site and its location still allowed her to relax in a chair on the spacious pitch we had chosen. The shower block was immaculate and the whole appearance of the site was a credit to the site wardens. We will look forward to returning at some time in the future. I have only given 3 stars for the "good for families" section because there is not much for children on the site. However with Exmoor on the doorstep and the North coast beaches only a short drive away, the site could appeal. If there was a category for "suitable for dogs" this would have prompted 5 stars, as in addition to a small dog walking area, there are many relatively close places for exercising your furry friends.

An excellent place to stay

Having not ever towed the caravan to a site before, Keith was very welcoming and gave great advice and guidance. Nothing was too much bother for either him or Debi his wife. The site is perfectly located for exploring Exmoor with plenty of amenities in walking distance. We will certainly use the site again in the future.
