GREAT SITE

We stayed at this site for a few day and were very impressed. The wardens - Christine & Colin - were very friendly and welcoming, the site was well kept and cared for and the toilet block, although not very modern, was beautifully clean and up to the normal CC standards. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent kept site

We stayed here while the completion of our house went through, we found it very well kept and for a change the weather was quite good!!  We do not use facilities as prefer to use our own bur I did look in the toilets and they looked and smelt very clean.  We will definitely be staying here again to visit family

CENTRAL LOCATION FOR TOURING SOUTH DEVON

We spent 7 days on this site, which a good location to explore the surrounding area. However, during our stay it was very windy most of the time. The site is very open, without screen planting, which would have broken the wind a little.  As for the toilet block, whilst clean, it is very 1970's, very poor showering area, in particular, so much so we used our own shower.  Unfortunately, we shall not be rushing back to this site!

Lovely site shame about the toilets

We have just come back from 8 days at this site. We stayed in the 'paddock' which is the bit off to the left as you enter the site. We had a lovely relaxing time until the last 2 days when 3 caravans parked behind us and sat outside playing a mandolin and singing!! No respect for other people. The wardens where very friendly and the overnight stay facilities are excellent. However down side's where the toilets are very dated and smelt fusty. You do get a bit of road noise and the site seems to have a climate all of it's own. Several days it was cloudy, windy and cold at the site, but nice further down the hill. All in all a nice site and I would stay again.

Great Site

We picked this site to stay near my nephew in Exeter. The Wardens are lovely and very helpful too. The site is good for children, with lots of space to run off some energy, but some play equipment would make an excellent addition and would give it 5 not 4* from me. The facilities are clean and well maintained, just a little dated perhaps. Would definitely stay there again.

Best value for money site in the book

We have been using this site since 1998, and must say that on top of all the good reviews, the Wardens this year are the greatest.

enjoyable break

We had a great weekend on this site ideal for us being not far to travel and we will certainly be going back. Easy drive to get the park and ride to Exeter which was a fantastic day out. The site was large and spacious and the facilities very well kept. I would recommend this site.
