A little gem of a site

Stayed here over Easter for 3 nights & what a terrific site...beautiful location with stunning views, the friendliest wardens you are ever likely to meet in Alan & Dee... and an amazing dog walk... toilet was always spotless with the added bonus of music along with flowers and hand cream was nice...a very nice pub sat on the river, The Anchor Inn is only a 5 minute walk away ..although the "elder" waiter could require more people skills, but lovely food and drink.. will definitely be back and for longer too... top site...

real country spot

Usually stay here once each year. Always enjoy the location, the views and surrounding area. Like other reviewers, we experienced the violent storm that week, but able to take trips to Minehead, Exeter and Tiverton to enjoy their differing 'atmospheres'. Easy to visit various fishing locations. Although there is a children's play area, there's not much else for children and the road by this club site is not suitable for them to venture onto on foot or bicycle. Proximity of road can cause some noise at times. But overall, nice place to spend a break.

Up to expectations!

Our 4th visit to this delightful site. A warm welcome from such helpful wardens - nothing too much trouble .Spotless facilities & the daffodils heralding the Spring. Although the weather left something to be desired - rain & very strong winds on 2 nights when the caravan resembled a boat, our stay was just as enjoyable as ever. Even our cat seemed at home. Fabulous views & plenty of beautiful places to visit. We will be back again.

Super site

Arrived here for a two night stay. We had a very friendly welcome by the wardens and were allowed to choose our pitch which was super. The shower Bloch and toilets were warm and spotless. There was a great dog walk on site. Thought it was slightly misleading regarding 'lakeside' you could walk past the lake on the way to the pub but we're warned the owner did not like people walking round. Pub good too for a drink. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent site

Have stayed in the area before at the Exmoor House site which is very good but this one is much easier to get to. Stayed for three nights on a fully serviced pitch. Excellent facilities, great wardens. Weather was awful, stormy, so didn't do much when we were there but hope to be back for another visit soon.

Lovely site

Just returned from a fabulous break at Lakeside. Dee and Alan could not have been more helpful. Alan has obviously spent hours working on the grounds and it shows. Toilet block was spotless with lovely little touches like flowers & hand lotion. wardens were great fun with lots of banter! We will definately be returning, thanks guys for a great stay!!
