Beautiful site

Exebridge Lakeside is beautiful and has a lovely dog walking area. It's best to take a pitch away from the side nearest the road (which is behind a tall hedge) if you want absolute quiet. The facilities are exceptionally clean and warm and the pitches of a good size. I was not too happy that a family stuck cricket stumps in the dog walking area and played cricket, immediately making it impossible to take the dog for a walk. The reason for the 3 stars for families is that I can only assume the parents felt the play areas for children were inadequate, although the play areas looked good to me. However I didn't complain as we were leaving that day. The wardens are always available to give assistance with caravan advice and are very helpful. The warden sometimes takes a dog's lead and snaps the lead against the dog's collar to make it walk without pulling; but as the warden is very kind it's only necessary to explain it's not suitable for your dog (this technique apparently is used with police dogs). Nothing is too much trouble for the wardens which is very reassuring. We have stayed here before and will again.

A Lovely Site

I have stayed on this site many times. Each time I have been I have not been disappointed. It is always clean and tidy, with very good facilities. The wardens are extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend this site to my friends with no hesitations.

Gem of a site

This was our second trip to Exebridge and we were not disappointed. Beautiful views across the countryside are available from most pitches. The new pitches that are all year round are a real asset particularly as you cant rely on the uk weather. The site is kept to a very high standard. The only reason I have put four stars for location only as you have to travel 30 plus minutes to get to the seaside along very wiggly roads (not a problem for us but it may not be for you). The wardens were extremely helpful and friendly willing to go the extra mile for you - in fact he even lent us a pack of bacon from his own fridge for us to have bacon sandwiches :-) Would definitely recommend this site and cant wait to visit again.

Stunning Views

We spent 9 nights on this North Devon site. The site was easy to find - mind the Black Cat junction and the steep slope and pot hole at the site entrance! We found an excellent pitch with great views. The facilities and site were well maintained and very clean. There is a small games room which was handy when it rained. Our children (8 and 5 years) loved the playground and made lovely friends. There are a couple of excellent NT properties near by which are worth visiting - Knighthayes and Dunster Castle and walk into Dunster town from the castle. Lyton and Lynmouth are worth the drive and do the cliff railway. There are country shows on in the summer and we went to the Mid Devon Show and was an excellent full day. Dulverton and Tiverton the nearest towns were excellent for picking up supplies and the people are very friendly and helpful. The Anchor Pub near the site is well worth a visit.

Excellent site

My partner and I stayed here a few times and its a great site. Staff are so friendly and the shop provides you with everything you need. There are some lovely walks in the area and buses are useful with friendly drivers! Its easy to get to, laid out really well and the facilities are all well kept and very clean. We will be back again soon! Keep up the good work!

A Gem of a site

First stay on this site, which we were able to get to reasonably quickly for a weekend stay. Firstly the wardens are super friendly and the pitches generous and level with outstanding views over the valley. And then there is the added bonus of the great pub in walking distance on the river where you can eat or just enjoy the lovely scenery. Sandwiched between Tiverton for shopping and pretty Dulverton we will be visiting again.

One of the best

We were made so welcome on arrival at this beautiful site.  Everything was spotless and the Wardens helpful with our endless questions about the area.    Unfortunately we only had one night, but we are here again and staying a bit longer this time.   Can recommend, very highly the Exbridge Lakes site.
