Always a pleasure to return

This was our 3rd visit in 5 years and the standard is always high. Other reviewers have covered all the major points, but I agree that more hard standings would be good - we were lucky enough to get one on the lower area away from the road noise, so it was quiet too - perfect. The wardens are great ... unobtrusive but magically appear if you need anything! Love the Bridge pub in Dulverton. We will be back.

Wonderful site. Worth visiting

We have been many times which probably says it all. As long as you know it rains on Exmoor it is a fantastic place. Congratulations to wardens, relief wardens and caravan club. A good honest club site. Even when full it works well. Could with even more hard standings which could extend the season. There is an open feeling and views.  We don't have children but play area looks fun.  Love it!

Very Satisfied

Stayed for 4 nights and we have no adverse comments what so ever. Previous reviews by others have covered all the good points about this site, which we fully agree with. We intend to visit this site again in the near future. The wardens at the time of our visit were a couple from Caerphilly their welcome and help was first class. Thanks Tom & Veronica

Beautiful location

Initially booked for 3 nights but the site was so lovely that we stayed a further 2 nights. Cleanliness was excellent and both the Wardens were more than helpful. Thoroughly recommend this site and will certainly return again.

Great Exmoor site

Nice quiet site and great for a few days stop with a motor home. Ideally a car is needed to see all the attractions that are available within a 20 mile radius (there are plenty including herds of red deer - take binoculars). The site was in great condition because of the enthusiasm of the wardens who were both excellent. The shower blocks were very clean and were never busy (probably because of the school holidays ending). The pitches were good with excellent views from the top . These were near the road but we were never troubled by road noise. One of the reasons we booked this site was that there was a pub within walking distance. Unfortunately the landlady had a mass walkout of staff the day before we arrived and it was closed so we did not get to try it for meals and drink. The site reception has a small shop. It provides, fresh croissants and baguettes (order the day before) every morning but no daily papers. These were available from Dulverton which was 2 miles away. WiFi and TV reception were good although lower pitches may need a TV booster. I liked the site and would certainly use it again.

Wonderful weekend

Spent last weekend at Exebridge. Cannot fault the beautiful site with the picturesque lake, birdlife and good nearby pub on the river. Wardens went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. The local area is truly outstanding with plenty of walks nearby and local village Dulverton. Cannot wait to re-book for next year.
