Stunning Site

This really is a beautiful Caravan Club site.  The location is stunning with gorgeous views across the countryside.  The showers and toilets are kept scrupulously clean by the wardens, Al and Dee and there is a well stocked shop with most of the things you could need as well as maps and gift items.  There is a lovely walk via fishing lakes to a local pub which serves good food, welcomes dogs and is very friendly.  The wardens are always happy to help you on and off of your pitch should the weather be on the wetter side and the pitches are very well maintained.  There is a nice dog walking area and a small area for tents as well as plenty of amusement for children.  The site is very well situated to explore Exmoor and the surrounding areas and is right on the border of North Devon with it's many attractions.  We have been using this site for 4 years now and cannot fault it.  The only bad thing is having to go home after your stay.

This is how caravan club sites should be.

The site was well maintained with toilets and showers the cleanness I have seen. The shop was very well stocked, including local produce. Wardens informative and helpful, this should be a flagship for the Caravan Club. Well done.

Exebridge Visit Easter weekend

A fabulous warm welcome from Al & Dee when we arrived.  The site has beautiful views and a couple of good short walks. Recommend the Anchor and use the discount card from the site office. Meal and staff were excellent. Visit to Dulverton was enjoyable but requires a vehicle not walkable. Despite the storms we had a really enjoyable stay. Facilities were spotless.

Fantastic

Had one of the best breaks on a club site ever . Made more enjoyable by the wardens who could not do enough for us . I have never felt so welcome . Despite the fact the pitch was waterlogged and my daughter and 2 jrgrandsons were flooded on their camping area we had the best ever weekend made all the better by the croissants and pan au chocolat  . We will visit again .

A beautiful site

We have just got back home after a short but brilliant stay at Exebridge. The site is beautifully maintained and boasts some of the best views we have seen to date. We wanted a quiet site well positioned for easy access to the sights in the area. We were not disappointed, there is so much to do and see. I am a very keen fly fisherman I was spoilt for choice as there are many great venues to visit close by river fishing and still water. Dulverton is close by and well worth a visit a lovely town. Close by the site are two very pretty lakes which are nice to walk round and to boot the site is very close to a great pub. The pub boasts a great menu and lovely staff a must if you visit the site. Great walking nearby down the river Exe.The site is easy to access and is managed by two of the best wardens we have had the privilege to meet. This is not a throw away statement we will revisit and soon, there are more Trout to catch and good food to be enjoyed. Enjoy.

great site and wardens

This was our first time out in our caravan, we had a few worries but the warden was brilliant sorted us out and we were able to relax. The site is very well kept and the amenities block was immaculate. Will visit again. The views are spectacular.

HALLOWEEN

My partner and myself stayed for the weekend of Halloween and the warden and his wife were very helpful as arrived late in afternoon. Had a lovely weekend peace and quiet and the facilities were excellent. My partner is disabled and we were located close to the disabled facilities. Have booked again so hope to have a great time next time too.

A gem!

We've just enjoyed a half-term break here and have been really impressed with the wardens; they keep the site spotless, are a great source of local knowledge and always have smile! This all goes such a long way to making happy memories. Seeing Spanner every day was a pleasure too. The only negative was our own fault - we choose a pitch next to the main road so when we go back we'll drop down a terrace or two just to ward off the early morning traffic noise. Highly recommended site and thank you to the AlDee Emporium duo!

It Never Fails

3rd visit to Lakeside, and it still impresses , due in a large part to the ongoing efforts of the Wardens Allan and Di They keep the facilities in first class order, and always have a smile and warm welcome. The local area has many points of interest and a little further afield takes you to the North Devon/ Somerset coasts.  The villages of Dulverton and Bampton , short drives away, offer all the local facilities expected, and the Bridge Inn in the former, and Swan in the latter both offer excellent food and atmosphere. On the doorstep, the Anchor offers good value and a wide variety of food , and under new ownership promises to add to the attractiveness of Lakeside. Try this site, you won't be dissapointed
