Great Wardens

Very relaxing week, beautiful scenery third time at this site and the best yet. Alan the warden put himself out for everyone on the site, helping and giving advice putting awnings up, which a lot of us needed. Very dog friendly there's an amazing dog walk which our dog loved. Well done wardens for keeping this site so outstanding.

Worth a visit

An excellent site. I note that spanking new tap assemblies have been fitted to toilet and grey water disposal units. These leak like sieves and the toilet unit spews water over the ground as there is no gulley. Apparently these taps are to be fitted everywhere because of a small chance that disease can be spread through unbroken connection to the water supply via the fitted hose. A great idea but do we really have to get our feet wet to obtain enhanced safety?

Fantastic.

Fantastic countryside site within walking distance of a riverside pub serving good pub food and good beer. Plenty of interesting days out in the area, I should have stayed longer. Staff are fantastic.

First time on a Club Site

We had a really super two day stay on Exebridge Lakeside. Wardens were really nice and helpful, also fellow members gave us some good advice as we have only been motorhoming for a few months. Having only used CL's up to now the Club Site was a nice surprise.

5 Glorious Days

We stayed at this site for 5 days from 4th August. We thought the site was one of the better C.C. sites that we have used. We were on a grass pitch, by choice, plenty of room and handy for the dog walk and facilities. The toilets and showers were always clean and tidy. Couldn't fault the staff at all, friendly and very helpful. We have stayed at the site in Dulverton but thought this one was better and less crowded. Will definitely return to Lakeside.

Brilliant site, Brilliant staff

We stayed here after a week at a non club site near Bude (all club sites fully booked). Cant believe the difference. This site is so peaceful and clean and well cared for by the wardens. The toilet and shower block is warm, spotless and very clean and tidy at all times of the day and night. Nothing was too much trouble. Our only problem we found for us was the road noise on the top of the site, so we moved to the lower pitches where it was peaceful. We found the pitches to be twice the size and more of the previous site we visited. It is a bit out of the way, you need transport to get anywhere, we felt our bikes were not suitable for the roads, luckily we tow a small car and could use that. The local pub is very good, but that is only the one place you can walk to. We will visit again, if only for the friendly and hardworking wardens.

A good site

Another pleasant stay here, good size pitches and a warm welcome from the wardens. As said the Anchor Pub is well worth a visit for food and drink, also The Copper Kettle in Dulverton great cream tea's and other food. Will be returning again.
