Facilities very tired

The grounds of the site are extremely well maintained by the hardworking wardens who are very friendly. The site facilities are awful. Clean but old, tired, minimal and not suitable for people taller than 5ft 3 - I’m 5ft 10 and the shower head came to below my shoulder. The club needs to spend some money updating it. The drive to the site isn’t tough however the road surface is awful pretty much everywhere in Edinburgh! Area around the site is run down and there’s not a great deal to do close by but attractions are not too much of a drive away and there is a minibus that comes to site if you desire.

Another first class site in the network

This site is one of the best in the clubs network. This is our second visit to this site as a 3 night stopover on our trip through Scotland the site is very well maintained by the wardens and the toilet and showers facilities well maintained to a high standard, their control of the access to the toilets and showers was very good compared to other sites I like that the club has invested in secure bike lockers at this site, all the toilets are in good proximity to all pitches and I was very impressed with their tent area for those using that facility. We must not forget a shout out to Grayham who offers a mini bus service from reception direct into Edinburgh town £6 return per person and even dogs are allowed on board he even gives a bit of commentary about the area on your journey.Caravan Club Take a good look at this site and duplicate through your network

lovely clean site,

well maintained good quality site. Close to Edinburgh. nice seafront walk along to cramond some roman history there, also war history, nice area, some good coastal routes with some nice scenery. the only downside for us was the lodge down the road, we didn't feel very safe walking past down to the seafront, this and the high rise flats that you can see from the site marred it for us slightly. but otherwise a great site well placed for touring around the firth of forth area.

Great City Site with Very Helpful Staff

This is a great site for visiting Edinburgh and surrounding area. Lovely long promenade minutes walk from the entrance. Golf course next door. Staff extremely helpful and friendly and most of all the toilets were spotless. We will be back.

Best of both worlds

Just spent 4 lovely nights on this site. Great to visit Edinburgh and also a beach just beside the site. Lovely site, very friendly and helpful staff in a great location. However I was disappointed some club members not adhering to the Covid 19 regulations in regardIng to using the facilities. The Club has worked so hard to get sites open and then some members totally disregard regulations that are there for everyone’s Safety. Even when challenged ignored advice and rules which are there for all our safety and well being. Very sad and disappointing from club members. That said overall really enjoyed our stay and will be back. Well done to staff.

Covid 19 stay

Had a lovely stay our first outing since lockdown with our new van .site was great usual club standard .we used our on board shower only used toilet occasionally and they were always clean as was whole site.sadly some people did not manage to keep to the bands rule even opening locked toilet doors all this did was make extra work for already hard working wardens.on the plus we had lovely walks along the prom to Cramond and along Almond River nice coffee shop there and always icecream van on prom very enjoyable time .

Family friendly site!

Family friendly, helpful staff, good layout, bit noises from if an evening from on and off site. Areas a little run down surrounding the site but good access to the city. I would recommend

Excellent City site highly recommended

The wardens on this site were knowledgable, efficient and friendly. The site was well managed and the toilets were immaculate considering they were a little dated. Overall the site is well positioned for Edinburgh. If you go out of the site and turn right it is a 5 minute brisk walk to Salveston Gardens where you can catch the No 16 bus to Princes Street via Leith and the Ocean Terminal or the No27 straight to Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle Its £1.80p for a single fare very reasonable.

Great city site

Wonderful as always. Super friendly wardens. Spotless facilities. Local bus services are excellent or use the private coach which comes right into the site. Prices for both are great value.
