A wonderful start and end to our North Coast 500 trip

This site is the perfect stopover (would love to have stayed longer) for exploring the north coast of Scotland.  We stayed here last Friday nt and then the Sunday nt before.   The staff were all super friendly and the facilities spotless.  We were lucky with the weather and was able to sit outside listening to the birds and relaxing. Fizz loved the dog walk around the forest (not everyone it seemed picked up their dog poo :-( but the forest is open to the public).

Good for a Fleeting visit

We stayed here overnight on a tour of Scotland after visiting the great glen. The site was quiet, the facilities were clean and warm and the wardens friendly, just right for a restful night. The dog walk is brilliant, beautiful woodland with lots of paths which was also good for a restful night for the dog! A good site.

Welcoming site

Visited this site as a starting point for the North Coast 500 tour. Unfortunately there was an issue with the motorhome service point at the top of the site, you could dispose of water there but not fill up. You then had to fill up in a normal service area, further down the site, which meant reversing into a pitch to turn the van round. No haste for us but the poor people in the adjacent pitch must have had the peace, well and truly shattered. The site obviously had issues with pitches, as a few were blocked off. Still we had a lovely view over the hills. The dogs had a great time in the forest, accessed from a gate on site. The site is central for Culloden Moor visitors centre and Inverness. Not forgetting Chanonry point, for your dolphin watching. Great facilities, shame about the temporary pitch/service point closures. Well done too, to the trainee warden, who was really helpful

Excellent Site

Extremely good nice site.  Very clean and tidy, showers hot and modern, lovely. Wardens very helpful and friendly.  Ideally located near a bus stop which takes you straight into to Inverness.

Great site in a good location

Have just enjoyed another stay at Culloden over the Bank holiday weekend. Toilet facilities spotless and up to date. Weather was mixed, but this is the north of Scotland! I do have a query about the new road layout of the site, which the new wardens could not answer. In these days of "green for the good of the earth", why was the road layout changed? Before, anyone on the top half of the site could exit straight on towards the barrier, now this has been blocked off, and everyone has to detour around a tight turn and drive around the lower half of the site, adding a couple of hundred metres of travelling distance every time you leave the site. I can see no logic in this move which increases carbon consumption and more seriously puts every outfit round past the childrens play area. Surely a health and safety issue?

A Great Site

This is an excellent well run site that we have visited on several occasions and always look forward to returning to. The Wardens are extremely friendly and welcoming and do a fantastic job keeping all the site facilities in a top rate condition. There are facilities to cater for visitors of all ages and the few children that were on site during our last visit certainly made good use of the onsite, ideally located, excellent play park. The one drawback, which I know others have mentioned, is the lack of onsite Wifi which would be of great benefit if installed, especially for those of us who still have to keep in contact for work related problems. Although certainly not a fault, but during friendly chats with fellow members on our last visit, several of us came to a suggestion that this is a site that would greatly benefit from the provision of some fully serviced pitches. I know some of us who are well into our wrinkly years of life, and suffering with various ailments, would be extremely grateful for this modification if the club was able to investigate. In the meantime, I would hope all visitors to the site enjoy themselves as much as we always have.

Lovely friendly site

This was our first Caravan Club site and we were very impressed and shall definitely visit again. A friendly welcome and very helpful throughout the stay (even lending me some bin bags because I forgot to pack some!) Lovely pitch, slightly on a slope but not a problem and great views. Wash facilities were very very clean and well maintained....we had an 11month old baby with us so the baby bath/toddler room was perfect. Great little playpark too for the older children.

Helpful and friendly staff.

On arrival the lady staff member was very pleasant, friendly and helpful.  The site was in a very good condition even although there was some work going on to make improvements.  All facilities were clean and general high standard.

Great first caravan trip, great site.

This was my families first go of caravanning and have to say culloden moor site made us feel at home with their hospitality, facilities and friendly staff.  A little play park was the finishing touch for us and would definitely go back. Great stuff :P)

Wonderful stay - Great hosts

Impeccably clean and quiet. The farm animals next door were a hit with the kids.
