Peaceful, well maintained site

Stayed for 4 days while my husband was working between Bedford & Aylesbury. Close to A1/M25/M40. Peaceful, well kept & very friendly wardens. Lots around to do - Hatfield house 5mins by car. Harry Potter World 15miles, London & Welwyn Garden City itself is lovely. Adjacent to woodland for walking dogs & kids.

A Lovely, clean and peaceful site.

We had 4 nights on the site. It was very peaceful and the toilets/shower blocks were always clean. We were visiting family nearby, so we didn't spend much time on the site. It was a good place to park up and visit surrounding areas. We had 2 teenage children with us, so they were happy to sit around the caravan when we were there. But there isn't much for younger children to do.

Great site for visiting london,we used cockfosters tube for a straight run intonthe centre (25 mins away by car) or you can use the train from hatfield, the site itself is level and set with low hedges around good sized hard standings, we didnt spend much time here arriving back early evening every night.in saying that we enjoyed the site I will use again in the future, very helpful staff on arrival pointing out which pitch would be suitable for us always a help on new sites

Amazing Friendly Warden

We turned up out of the blue due to a failing campervan - well he is 45 years old and had just toured France from Aberdeen! The gentleman (Bob I think his name was) helped us out no ends, nothing was a problem, he gave us directions to a place we could buy van supplies to sort out the engine, pointed us in the direction of the local bar, and even called and cancelled the site we were meant to be at. The site is beautiful, and clean, it was a flying visit, but we'd visit again x

Nice Pleasant Site

Stayed for a few days when visiting London which is ideal. Very friendly wardens from arrival to departure. Showers weren't the best that I've come across, but did the job and the overall cleanliness of the facilities were good. Good access from the A1.

very pleasant site

We booked in here for 1 night as a stop on the way up to Norfolk and were very pleasantly surprised. The site is very quite, staff and other campers are very friendly and the facilities very clean. There are good dog walks in the woods around the site. Somewhere we shall visit again either as a stop off or a base for London.

Great for London

First time at this site.We stayed 5 nights as we were going into London a few times which this site was ideally located with the train station which only took about 30mins to get into London. The site itself was small but ok ,the showers we poor but they did say they were getting a upgrade soon.would only go back to this site if going to London again,The staff were very helpful and could not fault them.
