Perfect

Not sure why my previous review didn't get published, maybe I pressed the wrong key? Anyhow, Chester Fairoaks was the last of six stops on our four week round trip and we are really glad we chose to stay here. The site is brilliant, nicely laid out and a lovely newly refurbished amenities block complete with piped radio. There is so much to do from here, Cheshire Oaks Outlet is just a short walk, there are numerous eateries and busses are frequent and close by. Cycling and walking is easy as there are dedicated cycle/pedestrian routes all around. Liverpool, Chester and Ellesmere Port are all worth a visit, as is the zoo. Overall a real nice place to be. Recommended!

Pitch reservation

We're always very satisfied with all the sites we visit and I always phone the site to ask for a pitch near the disabled block, but this time I went on line to reserve and went onto chat and reserved that way, but once on site the warden had no confirmation at all, so that's put paid to that way of reserving (waste of time) we were placed very near the disabled block thanks to the wardens help. Next time it's phoning the site direct. Overall excellent site, always like going there.

First Class Site

This is an outstanding site; well located and close to Cheshire Oaks Outlet village should a spot of retail therapy be needed. Bus stops are nearby for visiting Chester and Liverpool and there is a choice of 3 pubs within 15 min walk. The warden on duty was very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful, all pitches are a good size, hardstanding and very well maintained. The facilities are first class, well presented and clean. Staying on this site is exactly why I enjoy the Caravan Club.

Excellent

The site is peaceful and well kept and toilet blocks are new and well kept wardens very helpful. You can walk to designer outlet in 15mins which is big also catch bus to Chester from outlet. Chester is lovely and very interesting with a mixture of different buildings and walks by the river. Three public houses near site which all do reasonably priced meals. The zoo is on bus route. Plenty to see and a lot do worth a visit.

First Motorhome Holiday

We stayed at Chester Fairoaks for the last two nights of are holiday, a nice welcome when we arrived and we had the choice of several pitches. Everything was clean and tidy and Pubs, supermarket and shops were close by. Would diffinately use this site again.

Excellent as a base for days out

Easy to find and very handy for touring in the area. Free parking at the nearby shopping outlet where you can catch the park and ride into Chester. Fifteen minutes to Chester Zoo and handy for the Wirral , Liverpool and Port Sunlight.Plenty of other attractions in the area. The site is spotlessly clean and tidy and the facilities are first class. This was our first visit and we will definitely use this site again

Sunny Chester in June

Our arrival at the site was bang on 12 and booking in was a doddle. Site staff friendly and welcoming. Then off to pick the pitch, always entertaining. the pitches are well kept and give you plenty of room. We ended up on one with grass at the back, which as the title describes was great for laying out on. The site facilities appeared new and so the showers were awesome compared to Burrs from where we'd travelled. All the facilities were spotlessly clean and i have to say the later cleaning times of 11-12 were far better for me and my family as we don't rush when on holiday and always seem to clash with cleaning times at most sites which is a shame. Not this time though! We didn't use the kids park so can't comment, we went into Chester on the bus. Family of 3 for £9 was very good and they ran every half an hour. Takes about 10-15 mins to get to the bus stop at the designer outlet at a steady pace. There's a Sainsburys nearby so that makes the site really well placed for food shopping. Went to the Zoo which was fantastic and had a Italian meal at Sergios in the city which was outstanding!  If you're ever thinking of going that way go to Fairoaks but book early it's a very popular site and now i know why.

Bank Holiday Break

An excellent site with very generous size pitches. Great location with the shops all being within walking distance, although the narrow lane is sometimes a bit dangerous, feel there should be a lower speed limit on the lane. One downside was the Wi-Fi was on the blink, this is happening too often on club sites now a days. Again i must bring to attention is the lack of respect by dog owners not taking them off site to DO THEIR BUSINESS later on at night, this is an ever increasing problem on many sites, 4 and5 dogs to one pitch is far too many.
