A very nice clean site with excellent new toilets/ showers. Well maintain grounds with lovely flower beds and the staff are very friendly and helpfull. Very convenient if you wish to visite the ancient city Of Chester.

First Motorhome Holiday

We stayed at Chester Fairoaks for the last two nights of are holiday, a nice welcome when we arrived and we had the choice of several pitches. Everything was clean and tidy and Pubs, supermarket and shops were close by. Would diffinately use this site again.

Excellent as a base for days out

Easy to find and very handy for touring in the area. Free parking at the nearby shopping outlet where you can catch the park and ride into Chester. Fifteen minutes to Chester Zoo and handy for the Wirral , Liverpool and Port Sunlight.Plenty of other attractions in the area. The site is spotlessly clean and tidy and the facilities are first class. This was our first visit and we will definitely use this site again

Sunny Chester in June

Our arrival at the site was bang on 12 and booking in was a doddle. Site staff friendly and welcoming. Then off to pick the pitch, always entertaining. the pitches are well kept and give you plenty of room. We ended up on one with grass at the back, which as the title describes was great for laying out on. The site facilities appeared new and so the showers were awesome compared to Burrs from where we'd travelled. All the facilities were spotlessly clean and i have to say the later cleaning times of 11-12 were far better for me and my family as we don't rush when on holiday and always seem to clash with cleaning times at most sites which is a shame. Not this time though! We didn't use the kids park so can't comment, we went into Chester on the bus. Family of 3 for £9 was very good and they ran every half an hour. Takes about 10-15 mins to get to the bus stop at the designer outlet at a steady pace. There's a Sainsburys nearby so that makes the site really well placed for food shopping. Went to the Zoo which was fantastic and had a Italian meal at Sergios in the city which was outstanding!  If you're ever thinking of going that way go to Fairoaks but book early it's a very popular site and now i know why.

Bank Holiday Break

An excellent site with very generous size pitches. Great location with the shops all being within walking distance, although the narrow lane is sometimes a bit dangerous, feel there should be a lower speed limit on the lane. One downside was the Wi-Fi was on the blink, this is happening too often on club sites now a days. Again i must bring to attention is the lack of respect by dog owners not taking them off site to DO THEIR BUSINESS later on at night, this is an ever increasing problem on many sites, 4 and5 dogs to one pitch is far too many.

Wonderful early June break.

Our first visit to this lovely campsite but it will definitely not be the last; in fact we are hoping to make a return later in the summer. The site is well laid out with plenty of space around each plot and with the cleanest toilets and shower block we have come across. Long may that last. Unusual to be able to select your own pitch but nice to have the choice. Not sure how it works when the site is completely full but it worked well for us. Well placed to visit lots of places with public transport just a short walk away at Cheshire Oaks outlet village - brilliant if you want a break from driving or want to avoid trying to park in Liverpool or Chester. The only downside for us was that the hard standing was really well compacted making securing the awning really hard work. Getting the pegs out again at the end of our stay was even harder. Our peg extractor actually buckled under the strain and after two or three pegs was rendered useless. However, have just ordered screw in pegs so hopeful that our next visit will not be as strenuous!

Chester

this is one of the nicest sites we have stayed on. we had 3 nights here on our way back from Ireland being within easy reach of Holyhead. The welcome when we arrived was excellent and the pitches are of a good size and well spaced for privacy. it was an easy five minute walk to The Rake PH which also served good food and there is many places of interest roundabout including of course Chester. We will definitely be going back and next time will stay longer.

A near perfect site

Just returned from my first visit to this site and will certainly be going back. Great location for the zoo, shopping outlet and Chester centre. The site is very clean and spacious with the best shower/toilet block/laundry etc we have seen so far. Wardens very helpful and welcoming. Good size dog walking area, small shop with the ability to order the next day's newspaper - if only all sites offered this service. This site gave the feeling of being in the countryside, with lots of grassy areas and trees, even though it is next to an extremely busy road junction

First but not last visit

Our first visit to this site and very impressed with the site and the area.  There is so much to see and do that we did not manage to fit everything in, good excuse to visit again.  Wardens were very friendly and the facilities were immaculately kept.
