Wonderful half term break

We went for February half term with our 2 children (2&6) Beautifully kept. Toilet and shower facilities absolutely spotless.  Great site for visiting Chester (we visited the ice cream farm. Lots to do there and the ice cream is amazing!) Cheshire Oaks a stones throw away, along with Liverpool...to name but a few. Definitely worth a visit. Can't wait to go back!

Can't wait to go back....

I understand the site was closed for refurbishment last year........very much worth the wait. Spent five nights there. Everything first class. Facilities spotless. Wardens welcoming. The morning croissants delicious. The site beautifully maintained, but a pity some drivers still insist on cutting corners and churning up the grass. Chester Fairoaks is a credit to the Caravan Club. As for the locality, what more could you ask for? Recommended is a meal at Cafe Rouge. Tour the Wirral. day at the zoo. So much to see and do. I have marked suitable for families down a bit as there is no pool or bar on site.!!! Tee hee ......something we avoid anyway.  We will be back without a doubt.

Great location, good site

We love stopping at this site on our way to Scotland. Always warm and welcoming, the outlet is worth a visit and so much to see within a short distance of the site. No paths to walk when you leave the site and it is a fairly busy road but at the main road there are now crossings which makes it much easier to walk to the outlet and restaurants.

A pleasant site

The site was ideally placed for Chester Zoo, just 5 mins drive away (the reason for our visit). It was very well kept, but perhaps a little too manicured for my personal 'adventurer' taste, but hey ho. The toilets and showers were the cleanest and best I have seen anywhere in many years of camping & caravanning. Staff were friendly and helpful. A very pleasant stay, thank you.

A pleasant stay

We were on our way to Scotland in our caravan along with a friend in her campervan and stopped here for a few days.  It was all that we've come to expect of a club site: well laid out, clean, well looked after, friendly wardens.     We spent one day in Chester using the park and ride near the zoo and walked the walls.

Stop on Way Home

Stopped on the way home at this popular site. Good welcome by the stewards, the site is kept clean and tidy. The loo block was spotless, as well as the pot washing area, and laundry room. Handy site for Chester, Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks shopping etc. TV reception was a bit patchy, but got 4g on o2 mobile. Good children's play area, and dog walk. Planning to stop for a few days during the school holiday with grandsons.
