Great site

Great site, easy access, near to Chester and Cheshire oaks. Wardens were extremely friendly, showers were fantastic, really clean. Some pitches quite flooded, so drainage an issue in wet weather but not the sites fault. Pubs nearby for food, but pub chain food. Would go again without a doubt.

WONDERFUL 10 NIGHT STAY

THIS WAS OUR FIRST STAY ON THIS SITE. VERY CLEAN AND TIDY.FRIENDLY WARDENS ON CHECK-IN AND OUT. LOTS OF PLACES TO VISIT IN THE AREA. ENJOYED THE WALK AROUND CHESTER WALLS AND THERE ARE LOTS OF SHOPS TO VISIT IN CHESTER IF THAT'S WHAT YOU LIKE TO DO. DID WITNESS FROM OUR PITCH THAT THERE ARE STILL QUITE A LOT OF PEOPLE NOT STICKING TO THE SPEED LIMIT SAW ONE GUY GOING ALONG LIKE HE WAS IN WACKY RACES, IT'S NOT ON AS ALL MEMBERS KNOW WHAT THE SPEED LIMIT IS SO WHAT IS THE HURRY? BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN COMING IN AND OUT OF SITE ENTRANCE AS THERE IS A BLIND CORNER UP TO THE LEFT AND THERE AGAIN THERE ARE SPEEDERS ON THAT ROAD TOO! REALLY ENJOYED OUR 10 NIGHT STAY AND THE FISH AND CHIPS FROM THE VAN WHICH VISITS ON SITE ON MON AND THURS!

Perfect

A lovely exceptionally presented site.Very professional, friendly team run this site. Fifteen minutes walk from Cheshire Oaks and The Coliseum shopping and entertainment complex.A pub practically on the doorstep serving great value food and lovely staff too. There are oodles of other food outlets on the way to Cheshire Oaks. Four pounds all day travel ticket bought on the bus ,get the bus to Chester and Liverpool next to McDonalds at Cheshire Oaks takes twenty five minutes and stops at Chester Zoo.If you have a dog there is a secure mini field by the entrance also very clean. This site was a little piece of heaven for us. Thank you.

Brilliant Site

What a brilliant site - not just the excellent facilities, the convenient location and the peaceful atmosphere, but the special wardens. we arrived later than expected due to a puncture the night before requiring us to have a new tyre fitted the morning of our journey and subsequent traffic hold-ups throughout our journey. We entered reception to be welcomed by a friendly face who made us feel instantly welcome and our stress immediately started to ebb away. She recommended a particular pitch to us (which she could see from reception) and said that if we decided to use that one she would bring the access fob over to us when she saw us pitching up. We looked at the available pitches and found the one recommended was, indeed, the best and started to pitch. Before we had even unhitched the caravan her husband appeared with the fob and more pleasantries. Throughout the week we experienced the same friendly, helpful attitude and it made our holiday complete. Thank you.

excellant

we stayed here for 3 nights and it was excellent, my only gripe is that when using the ladies private wash cubicles the mirrors were always steamed up as they are directly opposite the showers

Something for Everyone

Recently stayed at this site for the first time and despite the awful weather, we had a most enjoyable two night stay. We were met at the reception by a very friendly, jovial warden who immediately made us feel most welcome. The site is immaculate and the facilities couldn’t be faulted. There are ample water and waste point around the site and the site kept pristine by the site team. The pitches are a good size to accommodate our new 7.5m caravan easily and the avenues provide ample room for novice caravaners to manoeuvre. The site has excellent access to the M56 (under curtain conditions may be heard) and would make an excellent stopover traveling to and from Wales but has many attractions close at hand, Cheshire Oaks outlet village and Blue Planet Aquarium are close at hand as is Ellesmere Port Canal Boat Museum with Chester and Liverpool not far away. This is a great site and well worth a visit, we’ll be back.

Excellent site

Had a recebnt 3 day visit to Chester and found this site to be greatly positioned for local restaurants and on the doorstep of Chesire Oaks. A short walk there will also enable you to catch buses into Chester etc. This site was the cleanest we have ever been on - spotless.

Late September Break

We recently stayed at this for 3 nights and were very impressed with the site and the way it's run. The site wardens were most welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, they provide a welcome pack with everything you need to know for your stay. The wash rooms were immaculate during our stay. Pitches are well laid out, generous and well cared for. The bus stop is walking distance from the site which is great if you motorhome like us, frequent buses run to Chester and Liverpool. The road leading from the site to the fantastic outlet stores can be a little busy at rush hour and you need to be cautious if you are walking but it's only a few hundred yards of no pavement and soon covered if you walk briskly. This is a great site which we would definitely visit again.

Outskirts of Ellesmere Port but near Chester

Very happy to have visited this Club site, with excellent and clean facilities. It was very quiet apart from the occasional aeroplane flying over and the noise coming from the nearby farm and no problems to complain about whatsoever. We visited the nearby waterway museum which is a must see place to spend an excellent day out. We visited Port Sunlight again a must see attraction. You cannot travel to this area without visiting Chester Zoo what a delightful day out, a little bit expensive if you have children with you, its cheaper if you book online but make sure before you book what the weather is going to be like. We are not shoppers so did not visit Cheshire Oaks shopping centre. Be careful if you visit the car parks in the town, make sure that you check the times and fees. We nearly got caught out at Asda car park. Would be very happy to visit this site again (Do try and avoid parking under the trees where the wood pigeons roost) you know why.
