We use this site regularly and it is nice when staff welcome you back, they are excellent. In general the site is a large flat site laid out well with plenty of grass next to pitches. There is a little road noise, but it should not disturb you. Very easy to access and with plenty to do in the area. Main problem is the popularity which could make getting in a problem sometimes.
Wonderful Stay
This was our second stay at this wonderful site. On arrival you’re met by the friendly staff who throughout out our stay were on hand to provide assistance of the local area.
The site is outstandingly clean and vey well maintained.
I have no doubt we’ll be back in the near future to stay at this haven of a site.
Great location
Very well located within walking distance of Cheshire Oaks retail park. Great wardens with a warm welcome that made you feel they cared.
Site was very clean but pitches felt very close possibly because it’s a smallish site.
Number 1 site
The wardens on this site can’t do enough for you ( not jobs worth like you get on a lot of sites). You get a friendly welcome I asked the warden for help with wheelchair friendly walks he gave me 3 walks to go on which I got round these walks with no difficulty’s. These toilet/ shower block can’t be any cleaner.
We was on pitch 66 one of my pet hates the caravan behind decide to cut past your caravan to use the toilet block I even shouted the kettles on everytime they walked passed upsetting my dogs. Why can’t they carry the hedge across to stop this happening this is what happens when they don’t put paths in. Also not enough water points.
Wardens go the extra mile
Very handy for the attractions of Chester/Wirral/Liverpool, not forgetting the endless retail experience at the outlet mall!
Beautifully kept site, wardens very friendly and working very hard to keep it clean (spotless amenity block) and pretty with abundant floral displays. Large hardstanding pitches - a bit of road noise from the M53 as I was on that side of the site but not too intrusive at all.
An operational problem (outside contractor dealing with it) with the exit barrier saw the wardens sitting in outdoor chairs "guarding" the exit barrier from "interlopers" in the evening until such time as it could be secured in the down position for overnight.

Lovely site
Excellent site and good location with plenty of interesting places to visit. The Wardens were very friendly and we were given a great welcome on arrival. Probably the best welcome we’ve ever had from a Warden on a Club site.
The site is well looked after and the toilet block is kept to a very high standard. The shop is well stocked and very welcoming. The chip van on site is always very welcome.
A major concern was that some dog walkers were letting their dogs do their business on the grass within the site and then putting poo bags in the bins at the service points. Absolutely disgusting and a major health hazard. This is despite there being a dog walking area.
Second rant is the speed of some drivers on site, some think they are on the hangar strait at Silverstone, if a child ran out they would have no chance.
Not sure what more the Wardens can do to overcome these problems, it’s just a shame the minority can spoil things for the rest of us.
This is the best site
Just stayed her for three nights the staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. the site is
very well maintained the showers are always spotless. there is so mutch to do just a short walk away it's hard to find some were better. Well done to the staff they deserve a medal.
Great location
Yes it can feel a little cramped full, there is slight road noise but the location and cleanliness
far outway any slight negatives. Slightly further outside of Chester than we had imagined, but no issue as there are buses from Cheshire Oaks or do as we did and cycle in along the canal.
Just wish we had more time, will definetly be back for a longer stay later in the year.
Our only issue, is why are there second hand clothes on Sale in the information room ?
Sorry but it looked and smelt like a low end charity shop, though we didn't see any signs suggesting any charity.
We are not sure this is the way forward for the Club.

Great site for families, friendly staff.
Very clean site which is central and loads to do.
Cheshire oaks retail park is only a 5 minute walk away with great shopping, fast food, cinema and more. Couple of good pubs that serve food on your doorstep and only a short drive or £10 - £15 taxi ride away is Chester city centre which again is a lovely place.
I would also like to thank the staff who between then helped my father in his hour of need whilst his wife was admitted to hospital. Making sure he was ok on a daily basis and allowing him to Stay on site with no issues until my mum was well again.
It meant a lot and again a BIG thank you :) .
