Best site ever

One of the best
Wow
Loved this site. Stayed mid July and got great weather. Great for walking and delighted to be able to cycle on some of the paths in Chatsworth Park. We just loved everything about it - the whole set up. All the very tame birds were brilliant - saw blackbirds "sunning" themselves in the most amusing poses (Had to look up the RSPB website to find out what they were doing!). A pheasant, ducks, blackbirds and numerous little birds there to eat the seed, just great. Also the deer in the park and as for the gold paint on the windows of Chatsworth house shining in the evening sun, lovely. I really hope to be back again and next time to do the tour of the house and gardens. Thanks for a brilliant few days.

Brilliant Site
We stayed for 4 nights 13-17 July and found all wardens very friendly and helpful, the location is excellent and reduced admission price to Chatsworth House and Gardens was appreciated. This site located next to Baslow Village and is quite close. The toilet block is maintained to an excellent high standard, the pitches are varied and some part shaded by large trees. Quite a few dogs on site this week and 99% enjoying themselves, unfortunately a couple of loud barkers could be heard who you could not ignore – there seems to be an increasing number of multiple dog owners around. A great site and very popular with all who we spoke to on site. In the Chatsworth grounds this week preparations for the guide & scout event 25 July – 1 August are already underway – it appears to involve a large number of campers! Wow
