The best site we have been too
This is an excellent site, well laid out offering privacy to many pitches due to the hedges inbetween.
There is quite alot of pitches that suffer from shade due to the large trees.
The only problem I have with the cc is a lack of consistency across sites. We stayed at Troutbeck Head in July, caravans were arriving as early as 10:30 and people were parking their caravans anyway they wanted. At Chatsworth if you get there before 1pm, you will have to wait until 1pm before you are allowed to check in. I have no problem with this, but there should be some consistency.
As for some reviewers complaining of children making a lot of noise, we hardly noticed them on our stay, I think kids playing outdoors is to be encouraged.
We will be definetley returning to this gem of a site.
