Bank Holiday Weekend at Chatsworth
We've just been to Chatsworth for the umpteenth time. We love the site which is why we keep going back. You have to book on the opening day in December otherwise forget it!
The wardens this year were particularly good. Very friendly and helpful.
I do have a couple of gripes though. Very few drivers observed the 5 mph speed limit. Indeed some new arrivals would positively fly around looking for that all important good pitch. Slow down! Too many kids flying around on bikes, mainly in the wrong direction on one way tracks. And finally...we ended up opposite a family who were with another family but they all spent the time on the pitch opposite us, noisy, footballs being kicked around and no regard for other people who might just be wanting a quiet time. On the Sunday a third family turned up so we were completely overrun.
I'm not against people having a good time but please consider others when you indulge! Rant over.
