Poor tarmac hardstanding
I stayed at Chapel Lane twice on the last two weeks and received a warm and helpful welcome on each occasion. I have rated "Overall" and "Facilities" 4 out of five because of the poor quality of the tarmac hardstanding on Pitch 55 and adjoining. The original workmanship, for which the Club no doubt paid good money, is poor resulting in no run-off and puddles of up to a centimetre deep. The work should never have been signed off in the first place. It seems that either the contractors specification was poorly set out or the work was not properly inspected by CMC staff. I would be interested to hear comments from the newly appointed Manager of Sites.
I trust that the Club will take this a helpful feedback. The standard of Club sites is normally impeccable, consequently, this example of poor quality is the exception, which I feel sure the Club will wish to avoid in future.
