All that you would expect.

Beautiful site in lovely location with lots of good walks straight off site. We chose a pitch near the road which could be noisy but otherwise the site was peaceful .Wardens were friendly and helpful. This was our first visit but we will be back soon.

Great Site

This is a fabulous place to go and visit.  The site is a nice size, and is clean and tidy.  Great for walking and cycling.  We have visited several times now over a number of years, and plan on doing so again!

Clean and friendly

Despite a wet arrival we were met with a fantastic entrance with lovely flowers surrounding the reception area and friendly staff, the site is in an excellent position for exploring the Peak District, if I could change one aspect of the site it would be to create less shaded pitches. We will return!!

Great 4 day weekend

This is a lovely site with really helpful staff. If you like cycling or like us enjoy the walking there are lots of routes direct from site and you always seem to pass by one of the local pubs on the way back. There are also loads to see in the area. What the club needs to do is by some land next door to increase its size! We will be going back to this site its great

Castleton

Love this site, we have stayed a few times and looking forward to returning soon. It's ideal for walking and cycling. The village is not far and has a good selection of cafe's and pubs. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely site

Having stayed at Castleton for a second time I'm very impressed by the general cleanliness of the whole site. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful especially when my dog became ill. I would recommend the site and especially its surroundings. The local villages are superb for food and beer and the caverns are definitely worth visiting.

Perfect location

Have stayed a few times now. The site is very well located. The staff are ever so friendly and polite, helpful also. The facilities and the cleanliness of them are very good indeed. I use this site as my base for the Peak District and I shall stay here for many short breaks to come. Sean Brown

Great location

Castleton site is a short walk from Castleton which is great for pubs and cafes as well as the dramatic Winnats Pass and Peveril Castle. Be warned though, the caves and even Castle are not cheap. We used the site to visit relatives in Sheffield and it is a good base to explore the rest of the beautiful Peak District. Only down side was the local youth hostel which was noisy until 3-4am on the Saturday night/Sunday morning but it was well within acceptable levels. The torrential rain in the middle of the night put an end to the party! Great hardstanding pitches with loads of room and when we were there - lots of sunshine as well.

Beautiful Location

If you love the outdoors then this is the best site in the Peak District fantastic walks and views and good amenities locally. There are caves to explore and hills to climb it is a great place for children and dogs. We will defiantly visiting again this year more than likely when there is snow on the ground it looks even better covered in snow.

Ideal site

We stayed here for bonfire night and the firework display in the nearby caves. The site was perfect, clean and close to the village. Access was good and the pitches a good size.
