Beautiful Broadway

This was our first visit and we will definitely be coming back. Well laid out site with plenty of space and quiet areas for those who prefer more privacy. Spotlessly clean, excellent facilities, friendly staff. Great central Cotswolds location for exploring the many attractions and places of interest nearby.

Half Term Break

This was our first visit to this site and we had a lovely time. The toilet block (in the old goods shed) on the upper level of the terraced site was a great treat and surprise. Inside is the beautiful wooden 'The Wanderer' caravan which fascinated the kids. The goods shed has been converted to incorporate toilets and a washing up area which overlooks a kids play area. What a fantastic idea! Facilities were clean and the wardens were lovely.

Last outing of the year

We arrived, checked in with a very friendly lady, went to site our caravan and moved 5 yards and our car broke down!!!! But a lovely man on his tractor hitched up our caravan and sited it for us - phew. The two wardens were brilliant. THANK YOU. We agree with other reviewers the cleaning of the toilets in the afternoon is a great idea. Everywhere is clean, a lovely site all round. Oh and after we had sorted the caravan out, went back to the car and it started!!!!!

Birthday Weekend

This was our 1st visit here, and our first in our new caravan, and it was my birthday also. Site access was easy and we received a very warm welcome from one of the lady wardens, (I had spoken to her on the phone) she was very helpful on check in, giving detailed instructions and recommendation on the pitch choice. Set up was straight forward with nice large level pitches. TV signal was fine using the EHU post, the slight negative was the wifi was not great, the toilet block was very clean, warm with plenty of hot water, and as others have said they were cleaned in the afternoon so no mad rush (great idea) (the site was full on our first 2 nights also) and there were no problems with the shower block or noise. the dog walk was fine for what we needed. We stayed around the local area for the whole time walking into Broadway (and up to the tower)  which was a beautiful village where we had good food in 3 different locations. the weather was great and the colours were fantastic, the site was very tidy and the bins emptied regularly, with the wardens working hard to keep the site tidy.Thank you to all concerned for our stay(even looking out for our DPD delivery) we will be back

Deck chairs on the last day of October

Warm temperature and glorious autumn colour here on the day the clocks changed. We rate this beautifully kept site very highly, such a lovely location close to the village, didn't move the campervan at all over three days, just walked the local footpaths with our dogs through the stunning landscape, ate excellent food and drank good beer in the village, wonderful. (Wi-fi very slow, the only negative).

1st time here

Lovely site, kept in perfect condition set on 2 levels. Wardens are friendly, if you keep on the right side of them.

Broadway in autumn wonderful!!

We have just returned home after a wonderful week at Broadway. The walk or drive into Broadway is very easy and well worth the visit, It is like going back in time. The shops, the hotels, the pubs, and the wonderful colours on the trees as they glisten in the sun, all fantastic. The site is superbly kept, very friendly warden and his helpers all excellent -AND- the toilet facilities don't get closed for cleaning until the afternoon, what a brilliant idea. The Cotswolds is a truly wonderful area and we will certainly be returning, would recommend to everyone.

October half term

Our first visit to Broadway and we can't believe we've overlooked the site for so long! We arrived about 6.30 on Sunday evening and despite the office being closed we were greeted by the lady warden who had seen us arrive. The site is immaculate and well laid out with generously sized hard standing pitches. Our kids are a bit older now and the small play area is more suited for younger kids but they tell me it's a good site for riding their bikes around. We made use of the visiting Pizza van and chip van which with the nights closing in was easier than firing up the Cadac.  We were lucky with some great Autumn weather which made exploring the local area a pleasure. Broadway village is a lovely place to visit and can be accessed by walking if you're that way inclined. There is an abundance of shops for the chaps to stand outside of while the girls spend hours looking at God knows what. When you've finished waiting around all of the shops in Broadway, (which we split over 2 days) there's more at the nearby Evesham country park. If I had to find something to critisize, the hot water in the dish washing area could be a bit hotter... We will certainly be returning in the future.

Autumn colours in the Cotswolds

We were at Broadway in mid October, our third visit to this site. The site was full on most nights but was remarkedly quiet and peaceful and the autumn colours of the trees within the site and in the surrounding countryside were beautiful. The facilities are in excellent condition and are kept very clean and tidy. Wardens are friendly and very helpful. It is an easy walk into Broadway with a pavement all the way along the road or there is a footpath detailed in the information room that avoids the road completely. We didn't try the footpath route because of time. Broadway is well worth the walk. There are many charming Cotswold towns and villages within easy reach by car. Some like Stanton don't look as if they have changed in centuries; others like Stow and Bourton have many more visitors. Dog walk is small but fully enclosed and clean. I shall be back next year as this is one of my favourite sites.

Nice Place

This was our first time to the Cotswolds and this site, and impressed by both. The wardens were very helpful and pleasant. The facilities were excellent and very clean. Broadway village and surrounding areas are very nice indeed with plenty to see and do, we will be back to this area again. Did not see any dog poo left about and our pitch was weed free, in fact I didn't see any that stood out unweeded.
