1st time here

Lovely site, kept in perfect condition set on 2 levels. Wardens are friendly, if you keep on the right side of them.

Broadway in autumn wonderful!!

We have just returned home after a wonderful week at Broadway. The walk or drive into Broadway is very easy and well worth the visit, It is like going back in time. The shops, the hotels, the pubs, and the wonderful colours on the trees as they glisten in the sun, all fantastic. The site is superbly kept, very friendly warden and his helpers all excellent -AND- the toilet facilities don't get closed for cleaning until the afternoon, what a brilliant idea. The Cotswolds is a truly wonderful area and we will certainly be returning, would recommend to everyone.

October half term

Our first visit to Broadway and we can't believe we've overlooked the site for so long! We arrived about 6.30 on Sunday evening and despite the office being closed we were greeted by the lady warden who had seen us arrive. The site is immaculate and well laid out with generously sized hard standing pitches. Our kids are a bit older now and the small play area is more suited for younger kids but they tell me it's a good site for riding their bikes around. We made use of the visiting Pizza van and chip van which with the nights closing in was easier than firing up the Cadac.  We were lucky with some great Autumn weather which made exploring the local area a pleasure. Broadway village is a lovely place to visit and can be accessed by walking if you're that way inclined. There is an abundance of shops for the chaps to stand outside of while the girls spend hours looking at God knows what. When you've finished waiting around all of the shops in Broadway, (which we split over 2 days) there's more at the nearby Evesham country park. If I had to find something to critisize, the hot water in the dish washing area could be a bit hotter... We will certainly be returning in the future.

Autumn colours in the Cotswolds

We were at Broadway in mid October, our third visit to this site. The site was full on most nights but was remarkedly quiet and peaceful and the autumn colours of the trees within the site and in the surrounding countryside were beautiful. The facilities are in excellent condition and are kept very clean and tidy. Wardens are friendly and very helpful. It is an easy walk into Broadway with a pavement all the way along the road or there is a footpath detailed in the information room that avoids the road completely. We didn't try the footpath route because of time. Broadway is well worth the walk. There are many charming Cotswold towns and villages within easy reach by car. Some like Stanton don't look as if they have changed in centuries; others like Stow and Bourton have many more visitors. Dog walk is small but fully enclosed and clean. I shall be back next year as this is one of my favourite sites.

Nice Place

This was our first time to the Cotswolds and this site, and impressed by both. The wardens were very helpful and pleasant. The facilities were excellent and very clean. Broadway village and surrounding areas are very nice indeed with plenty to see and do, we will be back to this area again. Did not see any dog poo left about and our pitch was weed free, in fact I didn't see any that stood out unweeded.

Peace and quiet.

Love this site it is always so clean and tidy and wardens are very friendly. Was a bit disappointed at first as pitches needed some weeding but after talking to wardens found out that quite a bit of work was to be carried out starting in November. Toilets and laundry etc were always clean and it was great that the cleaning was not till afternoon. Site is in great position to travel around to other places of interest. Dog walk unfortunately is needing quite a bit of work to bring it up to a reasonable standard. I had my puppy with us but he needed a bath nearly every time he was there. Some people need to be warned that they must uplift there dogs poo and not just walk away and leave it. Have been coming every year for quite some time and will be back hopefully next year and looking forward to seeing a number of improvements. Wardens were fine but have to say not as friendly as previous years?

Peace and quiet

Lovely site with a sense of calm.  Toilet cleaning wasn't until mid afternoon which meant there wasn't a rush to get everything done first thing in the morning.  I think it should be rolled out to all sites!  Great idea Very clean site with helpful wardens.  :-)

Lovely... but...

Had a very enjoyable short stay - thank you! The Warden on arrival on the Friday at noon (21/10/16) was really lovely, helpful, warm and welcoming as we'd not stayed here before and we loved the site located as it was close to Broadway village centre and there's a very sweet little nature reserve next door. It's peaceful and the facilities were good. However, when we left on the Sunday morning (23/10/16) I was left shocked and dismayed when completely and rudely ignored by a different Warden when I nipped in to hand back the barrier pass as there is no letter box as is often the case to drop it into as you come out of the barrier. I could see she was busy so I said "I won't disturb you I'll just leave the pass here - there's another car waiting to leave behind us". Ignored. So i said " thank you it's been a lovely stay - bye now" Ignored. So at the door I said as cheerily as I could still muster "bye?!" Ignored. How rude. There's being busy and there's simply being rude and charmless - what an unpleasant woman. Still don't let this put you off - enjoy Broadway and all that the surrounding Glos/Worcs countryside has to offer!

Very interesting site

This is a very interesting site, there is an exhibition in the old railway shed that includes the first caravan built and there is a lot of information regarding the journeys it has undertaken. This was an unexpected bonus and something we did not expect. Unfortunately this site is not so good for dogs, there is a dog walk only it is quite small and really a disappointment. Also the staff appear to be very busy and you get the feeling that you may be a nuisance if you ask any questions, on checking in the impression you get is that you need to listen carefully to the advice etc., because they will be too busy to stop and chat. I like to feel like I am welcome and that the staff care about how much I enjoy my stay, at this site this was not forthcoming. I don't think we will be returning, which is a shame because it is situated in a wonderful location.

Good location

Hi Good location for walking into local village for the best English product - room temperature beer. Plenty places to walk to or visit by car. Caravan site - just the usual Caravan Club standard. Thanks
