Dogs!

If you are not keen on Dogs - or more so their disrespectful owners, then this is not a good site for you. We have never seen as many of 'both', with some owners having 4 in-tow! Worse still is the 'Dog Mess' from dogs doing their thing, which was a disgusting sight to behold. Without exception - or with few, owners let their dogs 'mess' on the perimeter road rather than go to the 'Dog Walk'. Having breakfast interrupted by a view of a dog, especially 4 at a time, doing their thing, is gut wrenching. This is an ever increasing problem at lots of Sites, but Broadway is by far the worst we have experienced. Apart from anything else, it is a genuine health hazard, as the mess is never cleared up properly. Horrible, and utterly disgusting.

Great site

Stayed for 8 nights in October. Lovely site. Very friendly staff throughout our stay. 2 Toilet blocks which were absolutely spotless with nice hot showers. The play area for our two children was small but they really enjoyed playing and making new friends . Very nice location approximately 10 mins walk into broardway village with great choice of pubs and restaurants. Check out the village play area If you have children as it is really good. Plenty to do around the local area. We gad a great holiday here and will definitely be going back again soon.

Such a relaxing site

We have just started using this site again, following a break for a couple of years from motor caravanning. When we first came to the site a few years ago we were surprised how close the site was to Broadway itself. Just a ten minute or so walk to the pub/restaurant. As with all caravan club sites, the facilities are kept in an immaculate condition and especially the showers which are always warm first thing in the morning, and throughout the day. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the previous occasion they waited a little longer for us to arrive, as we had been stuck in traffic. There is no doubt that we will be returning soon, as it is open all year.

One of the best we've stayed at

Very clean site with excellent facilities well maintained by the wardens- full marks to them. Location superb and Broadway is so beautiful. Excellent base to see the Cotwolds. The ONLY negative comment is the size and location of the dog walk. Very small compared with other CC sites and especially in the mornings when abluting the muts, job done well before we could get to the dog walk! Thankfully the action happens very early and before other occupants arise from their slumbers. The road can be a bit noisy on some pitches so choose carefully.

Beautiful Broadway

This was our first visit and we will definitely be coming back. Well laid out site with plenty of space and quiet areas for those who prefer more privacy. Spotlessly clean, excellent facilities, friendly staff. Great central Cotswolds location for exploring the many attractions and places of interest nearby.

Half Term Break

This was our first visit to this site and we had a lovely time. The toilet block (in the old goods shed) on the upper level of the terraced site was a great treat and surprise. Inside is the beautiful wooden 'The Wanderer' caravan which fascinated the kids. The goods shed has been converted to incorporate toilets and a washing up area which overlooks a kids play area. What a fantastic idea! Facilities were clean and the wardens were lovely.

Last outing of the year

We arrived, checked in with a very friendly lady, went to site our caravan and moved 5 yards and our car broke down!!!! But a lovely man on his tractor hitched up our caravan and sited it for us - phew. The two wardens were brilliant. THANK YOU. We agree with other reviewers the cleaning of the toilets in the afternoon is a great idea. Everywhere is clean, a lovely site all round. Oh and after we had sorted the caravan out, went back to the car and it started!!!!!

Birthday Weekend

This was our 1st visit here, and our first in our new caravan, and it was my birthday also. Site access was easy and we received a very warm welcome from one of the lady wardens, (I had spoken to her on the phone) she was very helpful on check in, giving detailed instructions and recommendation on the pitch choice. Set up was straight forward with nice large level pitches. TV signal was fine using the EHU post, the slight negative was the wifi was not great, the toilet block was very clean, warm with plenty of hot water, and as others have said they were cleaned in the afternoon so no mad rush (great idea) (the site was full on our first 2 nights also) and there were no problems with the shower block or noise. the dog walk was fine for what we needed. We stayed around the local area for the whole time walking into Broadway (and up to the tower)  which was a beautiful village where we had good food in 3 different locations. the weather was great and the colours were fantastic, the site was very tidy and the bins emptied regularly, with the wardens working hard to keep the site tidy.Thank you to all concerned for our stay(even looking out for our DPD delivery) we will be back

Deck chairs on the last day of October

Warm temperature and glorious autumn colour here on the day the clocks changed. We rate this beautifully kept site very highly, such a lovely location close to the village, didn't move the campervan at all over three days, just walked the local footpaths with our dogs through the stunning landscape, ate excellent food and drank good beer in the village, wonderful. (Wi-fi very slow, the only negative).
