Best site out of 29

We stayed at Broadway for 4 nights in October and fell in love with the place almost immediately. The village is a 15 min walk and looks spectacular with plenty of places to eat and drink. There are dog walks all around you and you can walk for miles across flat well-kept paths and fields. The site itself is spotless and the wardens were very friendly. We will be back for sure as we rate it 'number one' out of the 29 sites that we have stayed in over the past 24 months.

Broadway bliss

We returned home on Saturday after 6 nights at Broadway. It was our first, but definitely not last, visit. The site is easily accessible (no narrow approaches) from the main roads, but very peaceful. Pitches are hardstanding, spacious, and the site is generally well laid out. All pitches benefit from sunshine during the day, and what amazing weather we had for the time of year.  The lovely village centre is between 10-15 minutes walk from the site. There are several tea rooms, cafes high quality decorative goods shops. There's also a deli, small Budgen's supermarket, and a butcher (which I found too late).  We had a nice lunch in The Crown and Trumpet, then returned for an evening meal later in the week. We also made use of the visiting wood fired pizza man, and the fish & chip van. Some of the best we've had in a long time. All the site facilities were spotless. A big thank you to the wardens. The only reason I haven't given full marks for being "good for families" is that we don't have children, and there were none on site until the last day of our stay, but there is a play area on the lower area. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Autumn visit

Lovely site, very nice surroundings with good access to a lot of visiting areas.  The site was peaceful, clean and well layed out with very good pitch sizes. The wardens were friendly and helpful.

Very relaxing

Had a superb stay for the week & have been very lucky with super weather all week. Our 1st time here and very pleasantly surprised at how good it was, usual facilities etc and all spotlessly clean by the ever hard working wardens. Nice to see the loo's got cleaned in the afternoon rather than mornings which made for more relaxed mornings, interestingly others commented on the timings & how convenient it was! Wardens where super friendly and relaxed and very knowledgeable about the area which helped. All in all a great week and a great site!

First time

First visit here very easy to find, arrived and was told it was fish and chip so that saved cooking the first night. Very quiet (a owl in the background at night).a very well kept site with clean toilets and showers. Book early as this site is well used even out of season as close to Stratford and Warwick. And of course the fireworks. Will most definitely return.

Good site

Stayed here the last week in August and thoroughly enjoyed the site and location will be going again during the Christmas period so Broadway should look spectacular . I would just like to mention and it's no reflection on the wardens that some members were reserving multiple pitches for there later arriving friends i.e. Putting their motor home reserve sign on a spare pitch and chairs on another and finally taking chairs and sitting out on another ! So they only wanted 4 pitches while people were driving around trying to secure a pitch as the site was nearly full . All I can say is shame on your selfish actions then just to make it complete one of the group got pulled for speeding In his haste to find his 'reserved' pitch by the observing warden .Once the group were together you could hear their banter 10 caravans away - not what I would call typical members thank goodness -just selfish !

Great location

Stayed 3rd to 10th Sept, lovely site, big pitches and usual High standard facilities.  Pizza oven on Monday night very good.  Easy walk into village, Good meal at The Swan, first pub in the left, also fantastic chocolate shop www.cotswoldchocolatecompany.co.uk.  Central for visiting many interesting towns/villages. Found Evesham disappointing, mostly charity shops and takeaways, but handy for Tesco and Morrisons.

Great time!

We stayed at the Broadway site in August for 5 nights, from the minute we arrived until we left we had a wonderful time. I'd read some of the negative comments about wardens not smiling, who cares, and other niff naff that only gets noticed if you've got nothing else to do! We cycled to Stratford and walked up to the tower for lunch. Broadway is a wonderful place with plenty of places to eat, and the ice cream people dressed in pink!  The ice cream was great. The site is well situated in a beautiful part of the country and we will be going back.

Disappointed

We stayed here for one night recently and have to say we were bitterly disappointed with the standard of all the pitches and the bin/water areas. This site is in dire need of a total refurb, there was not a single pitch that wasn't covered in moss and weeds, compared to other  caravan club sites we have stayed on this one rates very poorly. Broadway itself is a beautiful place and well worth a visit.
