The place we break in new caravans.

We only live 40 minute drive away so it's a bit close to home for normal visits. However we took up caravanning 5 years ago and very nervously towed our van here to learn all about it. Fast forward 5 years and we've taken delivery of our new caravan once again we were desperate to try it out so came back to Broadway. The wardens were very friendly and helpful the site was beautifully kept an maintained. There was some day time noise and disruption as the pitches were being renovated. This was however, well controlled and organised. The toilet blocks were cleaned and maintained to a very high standard. I particularly liked the fact that they close for cleaning from 14.00- 14.45/15.00. Some sites, I've found that after a lazy lie in you can't get a late morning shower because they are shut. The site is only 15 mins walk from the village centre. There is good walking to be had from the site itself or the village without need for transport. In summary, an excellently located and well run site. Highly recommended.

An amazing part of the Cotswolds!

We enjoyed our first stay at Broadway. As with so many Caravan Club sites we were met by a friendly and knowledgeable warden. They always have a knack of making you feel like old friends! It was great to see how the serviced pitches have been renovated. They look really impressive. The shower block is of course immaculate and beautifully maintained. The site description does not make much of the old railway shed that has been preserved on the site to house the oldest horse drawn caravan and its associated history. A really quirky feature. Broadway is a short walk along the main road pavement and is definitely worth a visit. The walk to the tower and surrounding area is very popular. We also visited Winchcombe about seven miles south of the site and were really surprised at such an amazing example of a Cotswold town. It is even more photogenic than Broadway! Hope you enjoy your break as much as we did!

Simply wonderful

I stayed on this wonderful site arriving on New Years Day when the site was officially closed but the wardens arranged for myself and two other units to arrive at 11.00am when they could get us all booked in together (good use of common sense) and all three units were dealt with swiftly and competently. The site was very busy as many are arround Christmas and New Years but that just added to a great atmosphere. The site, as is usual for the club, was excellent with very, very friendly wardens and beautifully clean and warm toilets. I visited the village, which I know well, to sample the shops, cafes and pubs all welcoming friendly and wonderfully decorated for the festive season. I would reccomend if you are physicaly able to walk up to the Broadway Tower, which takes about 40mins, mostly uphill through fields going to it with beautiful views from the top of the hill and a museum in the tower itself £5 admission. Coming back is much easier, downhill and quicker and you can drop in to any of the lovely tea rooms for a drink and a bite. Wear good shoes or preferably boots as towards the end of the climb the path is quite muddy in bad weather and very stoney and slippy when wet.

A Gem in the Cotswolds

What a lovely site this is, very well laid out on 2 levels with huge hardstanding pitches and immaculate toilet & shower facilities, I love the fact that the upper facility block is housed in a disused GWR goods shed and houses the oldest caravan in the world, amazing. The site is a 15 minute walk from the picturesque village of Broadway which has a small supermarket, handful of pubs (we had an excellent meal in the Broadway Hotel) a number of antique & touristy shops and a very good deli (the soft yolk scotch eggs were out of this world). There is a petrol station opposite the site with a small shop selling essentials etc. A top class site in a lovely part of the country, we'll be back !

Happy New Year

We went to Broadway for 3 nights 29th December to 1st January, 2 adults, 2 kids (15 & 7 years) & a great time was had by all. Been to this site a number of times but not for a few years & wouldn't hesitate to recommend & return. Warm & jolly welcome from the wardens who remained as friendly & polite throughout our stay when we encountered them. Pitch choice was quite extensive when we arrived, although filled quickly. Noise levels on site quiet given the time of year. All fellow members respectful. Bourton on the water always worth a visit no matter what the time of year. It's so beautiful. The Valley "leisure village" about 6 miles up the road towards Evesham & quite nice to while away an hour although quite expensive in the restaurant there. Only about 15 min walk into Broadway. Lovely for a meander. Not too keen on the little supermarket there though, parking is at a premium. Morrisons is only a 10 min max drive (Evesham). Cotswolds is gorgeous, site was fab & we had a brilliant New Year. Thank you to the wardens who work so tirelessly when we're all relaxing. Only negative...drivers slow down! What is the rush? 5mph definitely not adhered to on site. Children and animals can be unpredictable - please slow down on site. Take your time, you're supposed to be on holiday!

Beautiful site in great surroundings

We have visited many sites since becoming CC Members but this is one of the best. The welcome we received was warm and sincere and the site is spotless with warm exeptionally clean toilets. We chose to site our caravan close to the road (Pitch 4) and found it more noisy than we would have liked but it certainly did not distract from our stay - we did not find the contractors an issue whatsoever. This is a site that we will return to as we love the laidback Cotswolds lifestyle. A joy to visit and the wardens who manage it should be rightly proud of there work.

Our favourite in the UK

Broadway Caravan Club site is one of our favourite places in the UK. We have been several times and never tire of it. We came this time on the 9th of December to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had booked to eat at The Swann public house in the village and it didn't disappoint. Fabulous atmosphere and food together with great service. The following day we again took the 20 minute walk into the village where we explored the bespoke shops. Such a great place, we love it here and will return.

Cotswold Gem

As in the past this site never disappoints , the current upgrading has little adverse effect other than the contractors disregard for site speed limits. The wardens are helpful and friendly and keep everything clean and running seamlessly. Need a Cotswold break then you would be hard pushed to find a better venue.

Will be great when it's finished!

Very friendly welcome. 15 mins walk into Broadway. The dog area is fairly small and the usual nearby dog walk is currently churned up by the work on The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway. Also, new pitches are being laid and work seems to start early so don't expect a lie-in during the week. The new MH Service Point on the lower level is not yet open but will feature  a full road-width grated channel for grey waste - excellent. Toilet blocks - the lower one is warm and clean and showers are not push-button but not powerful. The upper block is rather quaint being set in an old railway building.

November break

Enjoyed a few days stay at Broadway with my two dogs, lovely site, wardens very friendly and helpful, Broadway is dog friendly, The Swan, The Broadway Hotel, The Crown and Trumpet and the Deli on the Main Street allow dogs inside. The Broaway Tower has lovely cafe and dog friendly as well. Worth a visit is The Plough at Ford, walk round the footpath next to the gallops, watch the racehorses and then lovely pub lunch. Will be back ASAP.
