Brilliant Site

We had a lovely three night stay at Broadway site and although early in the year the we were very happy. Loved 'The Wanderer' display in the Goods Shed. Excellent facilities, great staff. Ideal site for the Cotswolds, even a bus to Stratford on Avon from the site. Hope to visit again.

Excellent Site

An excellent site, friendly staff and very clean/spacious shower block. This is our first year with a motorhome and Broadway was the first CC site we have visited. All-in-all a superb introduction to our new way of life ;-) The site is ideally situated for an easy walk into Broadway, where the furniture museum is well worth a visit.

Great site for exploring the Cotswold Hills

We were warmly greeted by the duty warden and selected our service pitch which was nicely level. The site is about a mile or so from Broadway which is a delightful Cotswold village. The walks up and across the hill are well marked and the climb to Broadway Tower is worth it for the great coffee shop! The site is undergoing refurbishment which is being managed really well and did not cause a problem. The facilities are really good and clean. We suffered a little bit form neighbours who thought it was acceptable to be making noise n their awning gone 1100pm but it wasn't every night and didn't dent our overall enjoyable experience. We will certainly visit again!

A mecca for trainspotters - soon!

Broadway Caravan Club site is located just a mile from the heart of Broadway village - the popular 'olde worlde' tourist spot at the northern gateway to the Cotswolds. It is also literally over the road from Broadway station - to which the scenic Gloucestershire & Warwickshire heritage railway is being extended. Once the station is reopened, this site will surely become a mecca for railway enthusiasts, who will be able to sunbathe outside their caravans whilst watching steam locomotives chuff past.  The site is laid out in two terraces, most of which are now in the process of being upgraded with hard-standing. There are two facilities blocks (one of which is located in a restored railway goods shed, which also exhibits the 'Wanderer' - the nineteenth-century horse-drawn caravan of the Caravan Club's first chairman). The showers are hot and free, and there is also a laundry and washing up rooms. There is a second-hand bookshop next door to the reception.  We found the site clean and well-maintained. Given its prime location for touring the Cotswolds, Shakespeare Country, and the cities of Gloucester, Cheltenham and Oxford, I would imagine it gets busy in the high season. There are large supermarkets in nearby Evesham, as well as eating-out spots in Broadway and the neighbouring Cotswold towns.

Enjoyed the week.

Friendly helpfull wardens, spotless site, we had a relaxing 6 nights with some good walks and some good meals in the village.Overall a great location for the Cotswolds. But we did notice the speed of the traffic on site!! please slow down its 5MPH, not 25, we were on pitch 21, and were suprised how many cars, motorhomes and cars towing caravans were speeding despite the speed bumps and signs.

Lovely little site

Stayed 3 nights at the beginning of March and enjoyed it very much in spite of the improvement works going on. Cycled into Broadway - there is definitely an incline on the way in as the warden told me, but it meant it was quicker getting back. Excellent dog walking via the permissive path under the railway bridge adjacent to the site - linking up with both Wychavon Way and Cotswold Way - but the pavement is narrow and the traffic heavy and fast so be careful - but the scenery and views definitely worth it. Wardens excellent, site clean and spacious - a wonderful gateway to the Cotswolds

Excellent Site

We only stayed here for one night on our way to the Lakes but we will be back. The site is well laid out with good sized pitches. The lower ablution block was exactly what we would expect from a CMC site. Clean, plenty of hot water and very good water pressure, all important stuff. The staff were welcoming on arrival and the shop stocks a good variety of goodies. There was work going on on the site but we did not find this too intrusive. It's nice to see the money being spent on the upkeep of pitches. We went to see the old horse-drawn carriage in the top toilet block and it's an absolute beauty, well worth a look. The kiddies indoor play area is a brilliant idea, not that we have kids but I'm sure those that do can make good use of it on wet days. It's a 10 minute walk into Broadway which is a beautiful village, just be mindful that it's very expensive to buy anything there. Will take a trip on the steam train once the station at Broadway opens. Petrol garage right outside the entrance to the site is a bonus for those who arrive low on fuel. Thanks.

Stay in February

A very good site, wardens very helpful and friendly, close to the town and easy to explore the area with a motorhome. We have found this area very dog friendly with a number of places that will accommodate dogs if you want to eat out. Cleaning the showers in the afternoon is definitely a hit as it means no rushing in the mornings resulting in a relaxed start to the day. Well done all.

Fantastic site

Booked to stay 3 nights last week. Really nice welcome on arrival with suggestions on good pitches that were available. Chose a pitch next to the upper toilet block. Really impressed that the toilets were cleaned in the afternoon unlike other sites that always tend to be closed just when you want to use them after a lazy lie-in! Information room contained information about local walks and how to get into town and importantly which pubs & restaurants were worth visiting. The caravan display and history of the railway goods yard were particularly interesting. We will return in 2018 and hopefully the railway will be up and running by then. Mobile wood fired pizza visit was a special treat - very tasty. We enjoyed the site so much that we stayed 2 extra nights. Thanks to the wardens for all their hard work in making Broadway a special place.
