Superb Site

We have recently had another weeks holiday at Broadway what a great site we have been many times before but are never disappointed at the cleanliness of this lovely site, the Wardens are always very pleasant and friendly and do a great job. The village of Broadway is a beautiful place and only a short walk from the site, both The Swan and the Broadway Arms do lovely food, the location of the site is very good for visiting the lovely villages nearby. We were surprised that the toilet blocks were cleaned in the afternoon (what a great idea) and not in the morning like all the other sites we have stayed. I wonder if any of the other sites will do the same, it makes for a more relaxing holiday ..........The Cotswolds is a wonderful place and we would highly recommend this site ........

LOVELY STAY

Just returned from a lovely stay here, wardens were friendly and helpful facilities were very clean. First time we have been here and found the village of Broadway beautiful and can recommend The Swan for food, as with the previous comment we were at the bottom of the site and saw a lot of drivers doing way over 5mph (mostly elderly!!!) the warden who saw some of them did tell them to slow down,as the mother of a special needs child it was very concerning that people do not abide to the speed limit surely there not in a hurry their away after all!!!!!

The irresponsible speeding motorists should be ashamed of themselves

Just back from Broadway having taken our granddaughter. The site facilities are spotless and the wardens always had a wave or smile. Our grandaugher really liked the play park. The only downside is the way some drivers totally ignore the 5mph limit and think that speeding at probably 20mph plus is ok. Most evenings I watched cars, (mostly driven by more mature campers who ought to know better), speeding by. The worst culprits were a couple in a red Jeep 4X4 who every time passed our caravan at well in excess of 20mph.  Do they think rules apply to everyone apart from them. The club must crack down on these drivers before another fatality such as that which occurred at Rowntree Park a few years ago happens again. The only thing that will stop these irresponsible drivers is speed bumps every 20 yards.

Perfect location

If you like walking then this part of the Cotswold is just for you with picture perfect countryside right on the doorstep and nothing too strenuous, just a quarter mile walk from Broadway and the Cotswold Way. On entering, the site has a well coming appearance, which continues which ever level you choose. Had a shock at 4am one morning when a Camper van fired and burnt to a shell taking another two caravans with it and a car!!. How important it is to conform to the pitch rules when setting up your caravan. I am pleased to say that no one was injured. Wardens were always smiling and willing to help keeping everything spick and span, though obviously in Mr Stones case you can't please everybody all of the time. Not much more to say other than to say if you haven't been to this area give it a whirl, I don't think you will be disappointed.

lovely site, but not for families.

This is a lovely quiet site, can visit some lovely place's near by, Broadway village is beautiful, but no good for families, the play park is far too small.

We love it here, but do you pay extra for the wardens to speak to you??

Hi We love our annual visit to Broadway, what a location and what a village. If you wanting relaxation, fine dining and a sleepy Cotswold village look no further. The site this year has new wardens, the previous couple managed it as though it was theirs. Our first impression and you always fo in first impression was when we arrived, and before anyone says we more than anyone always try and keep to the arrival check in time, however we turned up and pulled in the clearly marked bay arrivals!!!!! As we always do, yes it was 10.30 am on a Sunday we normally pull in a lay by near but due to the problems at Dover we noticed most spare pull in space was taken by lorries awaiting the backlog. Anyway we turned up at 10.30 went into the reception to say yes we are early blah blah blah to be told not a problem but will you pull over into the car park / late arrivals area .... Strange I thought but not the type to create we did, so now we blocked the car park area and people came and parked And blocked us...11.15 am came two more vans arrived parked in the arrivals bay so we who really should be at the front ended up facing the wrong way and, causing a blockage and now third in line!!!! The very nice assistant did say we was first to go in but that didn't happen, for me it spoilt the arrival as I then had to leave the site to turn around and return...maybe a little bit thought from the warden next time, don't be a jobsworth ! Anyway that aside we set up and enjoyed two weeks of relaxation, the toilet block cleaning times is excellent we are early risers and use the facilities early but cleaning in the afternoon is a great idea. The main wardens need to smile and interact but everything else is great. We may give next year a miss due to the wardens, but hey who knows.

Fantastic site with great wardens

This was the first time we had ever stayed at this site. However it will definitely not be the last. Great site close to village with wonderful friendly wardens who clean the toilet blocks at a sensible time I.e not when everyone wants to use them in the morning. We will be back.

Lovely site

We spent 3 nights here on our way to the south west and loved the site. Facilities up to date and clean.Short walk into Broadway village which is beautiful and has all the shops and pubs you need. Dog walk on site is tiny but securely fenced. Can't comment on family facilities etc though as out party didn't include children. The on site pizza was amazing! Definitely would return

Excellent site

We have just spent a lovely week at Broadway. The site was immaculate and the entrance very welcoming. The sanitary block on the lower level was closed for cleaning at a much more convenient time; ....early afternoon rather than 10 o'clock; we don't all want to have a rush in the morning in order to get a shower before they close. Thank you Broadway wardens for a job expertly done, the site is a credit to your dedication. Oh and as well a fish and chip van on site 2 evenings  we were able to indulge in beautifull freshly cooked pizza on the Monday evening. Lots of National Trust and English Heritage places to visit. We will be back

A Super few days

We have been to the Broadway site on several occasions and have always found the staff helpful and friendly. The site is beautiful and exceptionally clean and tidy. Pitches are a good size and the greenery provides privacy. This is an ideal location to explore Broadway and the surrounding Cotswolds. Great for walking and lots of places to eat. Rest and relaxation was our intention for these few days away, which we achieved.
