Return to Nearly Normal

Just stayed at this site on the weekend of its reopening. We were a little anxious about what to expect, but everything was very well organised and clearly a big effort had been made to make everything as safe as possible. A big thank you to the wardens for making the weekend as close to normal as they could. We are regular visitors to this site and will certainly be returning soon.

A role model site

Another visit to this lovely site. Fully serviced pitch was excellent as usual and the Steam railway close by is a nice feature. Staff welcome, cleanliness, pitch condition etc all spot on and very well maintained. Although there is a children's playground, the local area is not a particularly exciting place for kids and thus why I have lowered the star rating for this feature. As we were at the end of the first long straight, we did notice that there were many cars that appeared to be exceeding the speed limit as they approached the bend at the end. The wardens did remind us about the speed limit when we arrived so they are doing their bit. My only other gripe was with the inconsiderate people next to us that decided it was a good idea to go out for the evening and leave their dog alone in the van, it was barking and whining constantly for 2 to 3 hours.

Another Great Stay

Despite the atrocious weather, the location of this site means that you can easily get out and about either on foot in the car. The hard standing pitches really came into their own although it's a shame that the dog wash has disappeared - it would be really useful after a long muddy walk!! The new adjacent long stay car park (primarily for the railway station) has four electric vehicle charging points (for anybody who may find that of interest). Great facilities - lovely and clean. Thanks to the wardens.

Great First Site

This was our very first visit to a Caravan and Motorhome club site and we weren’t disappointed. The wardens were so welcoming and helpful when we arrived. The facilities are spotless and the site is just a short walk from Broadway. Had a meal at The Crown and Trumpet Inn - great food, dog friendly and a lovely character pub. Owner and staff very friendly. Hope to come back to take a train ride into Cheltenham on the GWSR.

Great Break & Location

We have stayed at this site previously which is ideal and within easy walking distance into Broadway (10 mins ) . Site is nice and clean and is a credit to the wardens. We will certainly return.

Thanks for the onion......

Stayed last weekend (Storm Dennis) Great site with good facilities just a short walk into Broadway. Central point from which to visit the Cotswolds with all the main places only a short drive. Weather better than forecast but camping in the winter in England, you take your chances. Thanks once again to all the staff. Max

Disappointing access to Cotswolds

Site like all club sites we have visited clean and well maintained. Did have some noise from roads to both sides of site. Broadway a 20 minute flat walk into town . We were left disappointed about our stay as looking at the map thought it was ideally situated to visit the Cotswolds without moving motorhome. But found the bus service very bad even staff on site said don't bother. As we like to explore found ourselves travelling out in motorhome. It's 7.6mts long so not the easiest to park. After circling villages a few times managed to find places to leave it but would imagine this was only due to time if visit. We're here during storm Dennis so lots of rain. Tried to get a taxi into town for a meal to avoid a downpour only to be told a few hours waite and a £15 callout as located in evesham so waited for a lull and made a run for it . A lovely site situated in a great part of the country but very restricted on public transport

Perfect location, great for dogs

We enjoyed a friendly welcome from the Wardens and this set the theme for the weekend. The dogs were very pleased with the 2 dog walks, the lower woodland walk with lots of lovely smells and the top walk which was practical for night time toileting. It’s a 20 minute easy amble into Broadway, where there are plenty of pubs and shops. Saturday evening we booked a table at the Crown & Trumpet, enjoyed a steak dinner and a singer with a cracking voice! The dogs were with us, happy to snooze under the table. We’ll be back!

Delighfiul Christmas and New Year stay

Stayed over Christmas and New Year. The extremely kind, helpful and hard working wardens made our stay and this fantastic location even more delightful. Only a short walk into Broadway with its wide variety of dog friendly pubs, cafes and shops made our long winter vacation 5 star plus. Already boooked for same again next year.
