Thanks for the onion......

Stayed last weekend (Storm Dennis) Great site with good facilities just a short walk into Broadway. Central point from which to visit the Cotswolds with all the main places only a short drive. Weather better than forecast but camping in the winter in England, you take your chances. Thanks once again to all the staff. Max

Disappointing access to Cotswolds

Site like all club sites we have visited clean and well maintained. Did have some noise from roads to both sides of site. Broadway a 20 minute flat walk into town . We were left disappointed about our stay as looking at the map thought it was ideally situated to visit the Cotswolds without moving motorhome. But found the bus service very bad even staff on site said don't bother. As we like to explore found ourselves travelling out in motorhome. It's 7.6mts long so not the easiest to park. After circling villages a few times managed to find places to leave it but would imagine this was only due to time if visit. We're here during storm Dennis so lots of rain. Tried to get a taxi into town for a meal to avoid a downpour only to be told a few hours waite and a £15 callout as located in evesham so waited for a lull and made a run for it . A lovely site situated in a great part of the country but very restricted on public transport

Perfect location, great for dogs

We enjoyed a friendly welcome from the Wardens and this set the theme for the weekend. The dogs were very pleased with the 2 dog walks, the lower woodland walk with lots of lovely smells and the top walk which was practical for night time toileting. It’s a 20 minute easy amble into Broadway, where there are plenty of pubs and shops. Saturday evening we booked a table at the Crown & Trumpet, enjoyed a steak dinner and a singer with a cracking voice! The dogs were with us, happy to snooze under the table. We’ll be back!

Delighfiul Christmas and New Year stay

Stayed over Christmas and New Year. The extremely kind, helpful and hard working wardens made our stay and this fantastic location even more delightful. Only a short walk into Broadway with its wide variety of dog friendly pubs, cafes and shops made our long winter vacation 5 star plus. Already boooked for same again next year.

A great Christmas away - the first in 42 years!

For the first time in 42 years the good lady and I decided to have Christmas away with friends and where better than with our caravan and at a site that we enjoy visiting. Decision made and Broadway was booked for 6 nights. We wanted to stay over new year but the site was fully booked already. Why Broadway? - it's a great site with great countryside to visit and to top it all, there's a steam railway alongside, what's not to like. This was our 4th time at the site and we've always enjoyed our stays. The wardens and staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome. Xmas eve and there was a drinks and nibbles party laid on by the wardens and it was a chance to meet and chat to other folk staying on the site. A most enjoyable evening. Nearly every van had made some sort of effort to put up lights and at night the site was well illuminated as a result. The guy opposite us had a fantastic light display and everyone stopped and looked. I might even take more lights next year ...... yes we're already booked for Xmas 2020. My good lady needs use of the disabled toilet facilities and her requirements are, easy access, clean and warm. The Broadway facilities hit the mark with all three of her requirements. Happy wife = happy husband! If you haven't been to Broadway before, do it in 2020 and if you haven't been away for Xmas before, do it in 2020.

New Year Stay

Stayed at this site for 3 nights over the New Year and really impressed ! - good sized pitches with excellent and very clean facilities, only a short walk into Broadway which has some great pubs and places too eat. Staff really helpful and polite. Some good walks and lots to see with lots of surrounding history - we will be back for sure in the not too distant future.

Tranquil (& with an air of magic!)

Our stay was a short o/night one 6-December-2019 - it was wonderful - the site is faultless! Very easy location to find - very s/fwd access - the pitches themselves are very well placed & proportioned AND this was the FIRST site where no levelling was required for our motorhome (we noticed also the same applied to practically all other outfits, no levels) Facilities are excellent & perfectly clean - one of the blocks is in the original train station for the leisure railway which runs close by & is enchanting (with a restored vintage caravan on display) The train which ran by during our stay was a 'Santa Special' (crewed by elves) - many delighted children waving out! BTW: there is no noise / no disruption from the trains which occasionally run (& they are gorgeous) Many thanks for great stay

Excellent Stay

We stayed over Christmas 2019 and had a lovely time. The site was just about full with a very pleasant air, and the Wardens organised a drinks/Mince Pie get together on Christmas Eve. Throughout the eight days the site as kept very clean and tidy, but without any fuss and the Wardens were not intrusive - just helpful. Broadway is a super place to locate yourself, with Stow, Cirencester, Stratford and Worcester all roughly the same distance, and all worth a visit. It is a welcome 10 minute stroll into Broadway which has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Walking in the area is also very good with plenty of footpaths. Finally, we were close to the Goods Shed and enjoyed the steam trains coming and going - only about 3-4 a day. All in all, an excellent visit and we would certainly return.

lovely convenient site

Lovely site close to the village of Broadway. Don't be tempted by the Chip Van dreadful and expensive. Everything else was just perfect.
