A very peaceful and quiet site. Well laid out and spacious, with plenty of room between pitches. Very little on site lighting, which means you can take advantage of dark skies, when clouds permit. Only a short flat walk into Braodway village centre with plenty of pubs cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Will certainly be back.
3rd Stop Cotswold's Tour
As we were running out of days we only stayed two nights. We've stayed many times before and as usual the site was well maintained and facilities were spotless.
Wardens were great and very helpful. Men seemed to queue for facilities but I never queued for the ladies showers and toilets.
Broadway itself was very busy but we are in the middle of the school holidays and the village does attract many tourists.
Of the three Cotswold's sites we visited on our mini tour we found the Broadway stop off the most enjoyable and relaxing despite all Covid restrictions in place.
Great wardens
The wardens on this site are exceptional. Friendly and accommodating, Bev' offered to show us 'The Wanderer', exhibited in the second toilet block, which is currently locked up due to a broken boiler. We didn't ask, she offered and took the time out of her busy routine to allow us access.
Our three night stay was made better by the cheerful wardens.
As for Broadway itself: it's a lovely Cotswold town and worth a visit being only a 15 minute walk away.
Please fellow campers: stop complaining about the lack of facilities on club sites, and consider the situation we are in. All club wardens are working hard to keep us safe.

First time visit
A nice site with very friendly and helpful wardens. COVID restrictions were generally well managed (this site uses the 'band in the bucket' management system) with 2 slots for the men's and 4 for the ladies. The second toilet block was out of action and the steps down to the operational one were closed off. Generally, 8-10 am use of facilities required a long wait but access later in the day for showers etc was OK. Site is well laid out and some pitches are set in pairs with hedges providing segregation from other pitches. Short walk to Broadway town with some nice shops (but it was busy). No site shop but a general store right across from the entrance allowed access to essentials. Decent Co-op in the town. Good for a short stay
Glorious Broadway!
First visit to a site post lockdown and not disappointed! Well maintained site with excellent COVID19 procedures in place. Easy walk into Broadway with all shops, pubs and eateries open. Good walk up to Broadway Tower with cake and coffee as reward!
Lovely site
We had a nice time at this site and found that the necessary restrictions didn’t cause too much inconvenience other than having to get up a bit earlier to avoid queuing. There is a good bus service to Stratford and the walk into Broadway itself is 15 minutes via a safe path. Broadway is nice but was extremely busy with far too many people making social distancing difficult. One negative point was regarding the amount of dogs on site. Many people had two, three even four dogs. We love animals but found the lack of respect for people without dogs somewhat disappointing. One lady seemed to think it acceptable to allow her dog, on a longer than 2 metre extending lead, enter our pitch. She stood and waited while her dog sniffed around our pitch then urinated no more than a couple of metres from us sitting outside eating our dinner! Of course we should have said something to her but were so shocked we just sat there in disbelief. Sadly this behaviour is becoming more and more commonplace. We experienced similar problems on most sites we visited during our 11 night holiday on five Caravan and Motorhome Club sites. The visiting pizza van is excellent.
Not enough facilities for small caravans
I really like the Broadway site, well maintained , close to the village and lovely walks close by. However, having a small caravan , we more dependent on the shower / toilet facilities than the bigger outfits, and they are insufficient at the moment. 117 pitches and only 2 allowed in the facilities at any one time, there was some long queueing. I fully understand the coronavirus restrictions, but if I had probably would not have booked if I had known how restricted the facilities were.
Excellent Stay
Having just recently returned from Broadway on our first visit all I can say is that it excellent even during these strange times.
We had never managed to visit before but have already booked for next year, the site staff were more than helpful and cheery with telling us about surrounding areas to all the extra work they had to do to help keep us all safe, yes it maybe awkward for the smaller Van's with limited amenities to cope as the previous review may state but surely everyone's safety comes first.
The site its self for us was great we managed to get pitch 117 and what a bonus great spot with great views.
Cannot comment on site facilities as we used our own in the van.
If you get lucky and can book this site then you will not be disappointed, on a couple of nights there is a pizza van and chippy van that come to Site.
The village itself is a 10-15 min walk away with cafes pubs and eateries plus many little independent shops.
Finally for such an idyllic spot it is very easy to get to.
Would definitely recommend.
Thanks again to the Club and the Wardens for all the extra effort in these times.
Disappionted 2nd visit
I was surprised to find when I arrived to be told that only 1 toilet block was open. The block that was open in the ladies had 3 showers, toilets and sinks and the men only had 2 of each and the queue in the morning was not good. As the site was full and there was a lot of small motorhomes on the pitches there was a need for more facilities. I know with covid-19 there are a lot of resrictions but there was a need for more facilities if the site is full. I had stayed at this site before and found it a nice site but until this pandemic is over I will not be returning.
