Helpful wardens

Site was well kept and a credit to the wardens. A special mention must go to Debbie and Bev who were really helpful and made our stay so much more special. Well done ladies.

Great location and lovely friendly welcome

The Broadway site is in a great location to visit places in the Cotswolds. The site itself is very accessible but peaceful with very little road noise. I had a lovely 3 night break with my two dogs. I can definitely recommend the pizza van that visits the site twice a week - very tasty.

It's been a few Years!

We had a very warm welcome from the friendly wardens and given the choice of pitches that were available for our booking. It's been many years since we were at the new Broadway site it's completely unrecognisable due to the tree and shrub growth. We used our own on board facilities so didn't use the toilet block. Rather surprised there were no bins, loo emptying point, taps or waste at the lower toilet block. These services are all at the service points at either end of the site but unfortunately neither had any hand gel available to use after using the service point and bins, would be good if they could be added as they were at the previous club sites we've been on. Very close to the village and so pretty. The tower is worth a visit but better not in the rain so you get a wonderful view.

AMAZING SITE IN THE COTSWOLDS

23/10/20 Arrived on site to a very warm welcome from the wardens who gave us clear instructions on how there covid precautions work on site as some sites are different, we found a lovely sheltered pitch close to the facilities as the weather was very wet and windy. set up and returned to reception with our pitch number.. The site is immaculately kept all covid precautions in place and managed well. The wardens were always cheerful and willing to chat/give advice if required (socially distanced of course). The facilities cleaning time is in the afternoon so reduces the need for the early morning rush for the morning constitutional this was much preferred. The preserved steam railway runs along the boundary fence which is a great sight to see. We only had a four night stay but loved the piece, quiet and relaxing surroundings of this little gem and will definitely return for a longer stay in the future.

Wonderful site

We have just stayed on Broadway for a around a couple of weeks and it has been excellent. The welcome from the wardens is better than fantastic and they continued to be outstanding throughout our stay. They were always cheerful and they could not have been more helpful and bearing in mind the present situation it is amazing that they do manage to stay so positive. The facilities are kept spotless and the waste areas were very regularly cleaned and always looked tidy. The pitches are also kept in excellent condition and when you consider that the site is a very well occupied site at all times, the wardens are achieving an amazing standard, which is certainly not the case on all of the sites that we visit. The site is also extremely well situated on the out skirts of Broadway. The walk to Broadway Tower from the site, through Broadway village is a lovely walk. The views from the Tower are well worth the effort of the climb. The site is also well situated for all the usual Cotswold hot spots and there are many to choose from. Overall we had a lovely couple of weeks, the weather was kind, the Cotswold people were friendly and the site was superbly well maintained by the wardens. Thanks to you all and stay safe in these strange times Regards Dave and Steph.

Always friendly and helpful.

As ever, the staff here are friendly and helpful, particularly during this difficult period for everyone. We are frequent visitors here, and love the site for its proximity to great walking country, a wonderful steam railway, a very pretty town within walking distance, not forgetting 'The Wanderer'. We think it's as near to perfect as a site can get. Tricia & Stuart Lynch

Thank You

I would like to say a big thank you to all the team at Broadway, particularly Deb and Steve, who helped me sort out the hash I’d made of my bookings. They were patient and kind even though I was having a meltdown . The site is everything you would expect of a good CAMC site, spacious pitches and great facilities. The location is perfect for touring the Cotswolds and also some great walking straight from site.

Great site with really helpful staff

Stayed 2 nights on our way back home from Cornwall. We were lucky because we had the perfect pitch for my husband being opposite the heritage railway. The staff were friendly and helpful and kept the site immaculate. What a busy time they have with the extra work regarding being covid safe. The dog walks are excellent and views from by the railway line really lovely. The only thing that bothered me was the inconsiderate people who parked below us in their caravans who ignored the signs about not walking their dogs in the area allocated for grass pitches. These sort of people give the rest of us dog owners a bad name. There are 2 lovely dog walks where dogs can be allowed loose on site and really nice public footpaths to take the dogs so there was no need for these selfish people to do this. We didnt report the people to the staff because they have enough to deal with and when I was talking to another dog owner in the dog walk area they told me that they had heard people being rude to the staff when they mentioned to people about the rules, this both for people speeding and indeed walking their dogs where they shouldnt. The last thing I wanted was for staff to be abused but the thought of that is terrible - the fact that people when asked to follow the rules are then abusive to the staff. We thought the staff were most helpful and kind.

Good Stopover

Just a stopover for us but we know the area and the site is in a good spot to explore the Cotswolds. We walked to the village and it was busy even on a late Sunday afternoon, a typical popular tourist venue. The site is well kept, nice play area for children and the steam railway is adjacent to the back of the site. Handy shop over the road from the site entrance and a bus service. Some road noise but not too bad even on our pitch which was nearest to the traffic.
