What a super find

Ashamed to admit we have never been here before and its only a 1 hour drive from home. Corrected that last weekend. What a lovely site in a beautiful area. OK, we were lucky to get a pitch alongside the GWSR (steam train line) but also the view over the escarpment to what must be the Vale of Evesham was equally enjoyable. Lovely wardens, super clean facilities (as usual with a CAMC site), very relaxed and all pitches looked to be equally as good as the one we lucked into! Broadway, a easy walk from the site, is very touristy but also very pretty - just explore off the main road. There are splendid local walks and other equally lovely pretty villages around. Didn't make it up to Broadway Tower as it looked like a bit of a hike for Hubby but maybe next time as there will most definitely be next time!

Late availability getaway

This is our second visit to site. It is in a beautiful part of the country and only an hour forty from where we live. This was our first trip out since the second lockdown the village is only ten minutes away on foot and is such a friendly place. The walk up to the tower can be quite an effort but worth the view and the ice cream was a nice reward.. didn’t use the pubs this time round but there are a few. The crown and trumpet is the place to go if you like real ales. The swan serves lovely food when you are allowed back indoors. The wardens on this site are a lovely bunch and very helpful will be back along with our fiends

A lovely site in a beautiful setting.

We stayed for 2 nights over a very wet, windy and cold May Day bank holiday. Arrival and checking in was excellent. Lovely to be greeted by happy, smiling wardens. Pitches are a good size and very well kept. Facilities were spotless. I will be so glad when they will all be open and hopefully the wristband system can be eliminated. Broadway is a short walk away and has plenty of independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants to occupy you! Sadly due to the weather the planned walk up to Broadway Tower was cancelled.

Site was well kept and a credit to the wardens. A special mention must go to Debbie and Bev who were really helpful and made our stay so much more special. Well done ladies.

Great location and lovely friendly welcome

The Broadway site is in a great location to visit places in the Cotswolds. The site itself is very accessible but peaceful with very little road noise. I had a lovely 3 night break with my two dogs. I can definitely recommend the pizza van that visits the site twice a week - very tasty.

It's been a few Years!

We had a very warm welcome from the friendly wardens and given the choice of pitches that were available for our booking. It's been many years since we were at the new Broadway site it's completely unrecognisable due to the tree and shrub growth. We used our own on board facilities so didn't use the toilet block. Rather surprised there were no bins, loo emptying point, taps or waste at the lower toilet block. These services are all at the service points at either end of the site but unfortunately neither had any hand gel available to use after using the service point and bins, would be good if they could be added as they were at the previous club sites we've been on. Very close to the village and so pretty. The tower is worth a visit but better not in the rain so you get a wonderful view.

AMAZING SITE IN THE COTSWOLDS

23/10/20 Arrived on site to a very warm welcome from the wardens who gave us clear instructions on how there covid precautions work on site as some sites are different, we found a lovely sheltered pitch close to the facilities as the weather was very wet and windy. set up and returned to reception with our pitch number.. The site is immaculately kept all covid precautions in place and managed well. The wardens were always cheerful and willing to chat/give advice if required (socially distanced of course). The facilities cleaning time is in the afternoon so reduces the need for the early morning rush for the morning constitutional this was much preferred. The preserved steam railway runs along the boundary fence which is a great sight to see. We only had a four night stay but loved the piece, quiet and relaxing surroundings of this little gem and will definitely return for a longer stay in the future.

Wonderful site

We have just stayed on Broadway for a around a couple of weeks and it has been excellent. The welcome from the wardens is better than fantastic and they continued to be outstanding throughout our stay. They were always cheerful and they could not have been more helpful and bearing in mind the present situation it is amazing that they do manage to stay so positive. The facilities are kept spotless and the waste areas were very regularly cleaned and always looked tidy. The pitches are also kept in excellent condition and when you consider that the site is a very well occupied site at all times, the wardens are achieving an amazing standard, which is certainly not the case on all of the sites that we visit. The site is also extremely well situated on the out skirts of Broadway. The walk to Broadway Tower from the site, through Broadway village is a lovely walk. The views from the Tower are well worth the effort of the climb. The site is also well situated for all the usual Cotswold hot spots and there are many to choose from. Overall we had a lovely couple of weeks, the weather was kind, the Cotswold people were friendly and the site was superbly well maintained by the wardens. Thanks to you all and stay safe in these strange times Regards Dave and Steph.

Always friendly and helpful.

As ever, the staff here are friendly and helpful, particularly during this difficult period for everyone. We are frequent visitors here, and love the site for its proximity to great walking country, a wonderful steam railway, a very pretty town within walking distance, not forgetting 'The Wanderer'. We think it's as near to perfect as a site can get. Tricia & Stuart Lynch
