Peaceful site

Stayed at Broadway for just over a week in September 2019 and I have to say we couldn't fault the site. From the spacious pitches to the cleanliness of the toilets to the friendliness of the wardens, all was just spot on. The site is perfectly situated to access all of the lovely villages around the cotswolds and we would not hesitate to go back to this site again in the future.

Smashing

Our first visit and was well pleased. We had a serviced pitch and the only issue we had was that there was an occasional 'waft' of drain smells when we were sitting out in the grassed area. I know this was just waste water, not sewer water, but when your having a G n T and some 'Scooby Snacks' its a little off putting. Apart from that, excellent.

2nd visit didn’t disappoint

There is something special about a Caravan and motorhome club site - the welcome; the pitch; facilities; location. It’s all faultless at this site. We came to visit the railway for a few days, which makes the Broadway site even more appealing now that you can get a steam train(s) from Broadway to Cheltenham. Plus the village, with its Cotswold charm, lovely village pubs and a selection of shops... but why do they close so early? The welcome - terrific, which carried on for our time on site. The pitch - lovely, well maintained Facilities - first rate We will definitely come back here.

Images don't do it justice.

Broadway Site is easy to find and very accessible. No narrow windy roads to negotiate. Booking in was straightforward and there was a warm welcome. Despite being full we had a choice of pitches and they all seemed quite spacious with adequate room for vehicle, caravan and awning. Quite a lot of pleasant green areas and these would be lovely to sit out on if fortunate to choose the right pitch. The hairdriers are conviently situated so you are not inconveniencing others e.g on some sites they are right next to hand basins which can be a bit of a nuisance. Possibly the showers are beginning to look sightly tired but this is nit picking. There is road noise but it isn't particularly intrusive (and I hate road noise!). The walk along the road into Broadway is fine thought we enjoyed the back way on the public footpath where the dogs could have a little romp en route. I think it would be a good site if you use a mobility scooter as getting into Broadway would be easy on one going along the pavement. Broadway Tower circular walk was excellent. Yes it is a bit of a climb up but I am 65 and not particularly fit and it was fine. There are NO stiles to climb. Snowshill Manor is worth a visit but it isn't dog friendly. The circular walk is though and is really enjoyable. No stiles and on quite steep bit but again I managed it ok. The best ale is found at the The Crown and Trumpet and this is dog friendly and food good. So, what's not to like. I can't find anything. I quite enjoyed the steam trains trundling in and out of the station next door.

A sit I fell in love with immediately

We were here in July, when we started our 7 week trip in the UK and we returned in August. On our return the site was full, but amazingly quiet. This is a fantastic place in the beautiful Cotswolds. Unfortunately: as on all C&MC sites WIFI (I bought the year subscription) is bad!! And we couldn't use our Digital Disc. But we'll certainly return and hopefully those issues will be solved by then.

Great site - our favourite

Just returned from another stay at this lovely site. Love it as it’s got a superb location, pitches are good, facilities are spotless and wardens are usually brilliant. We appreciate there is a speed limit on all sites as there should be - 5mph - first gear - and wardens are right to enforce it. Didn’t see anyone going too fast either! On our arrival, we were told quite abruptly that anyone who did not keep up the limit would be challenged! Ok fine - but later on, I witnessed 3 other arrivals while waiting to ask a question and inform our pitch number, who were not greeted in the same manner as we were! Not a consistent and friendly way to promote this! We will go back as we love Broadway! But we won’t be driving too fast either. Hopefully next year, there’ll be a different set of wardens. Sorry as it wasn’t all of them.

Enjoyable stay

We've just returned home from our 3 night visit to Broadway. This was the third time we have stayed here & we definitely would like to return again soon. The toilets & showers are spotless & they are cleaned in the afternoon which is our preference. It's a short walk into beautiful Broadway village. The steam train is adjacent to the site. We noticed some road noise this time which we hadn't before but it wasn't intrusive. Good sized pitches. Friendly welcome. We will be back!

Pleasant stay at Broadway

We have just returned from a pleasant 7 night stay in our caravan at Broadway. The check-in was efficient and welcoming. All pitches are spacious with plenty of space for car, caravan, awning. Facilities are good but I had to queue for 2 or 3 minutes for a shower during the busy morning period, but did not consider this a problem. The heritage railway passes adjacent to the top of the site but does not create an obstrusive noise at all. There is a little traffic noise during the day, but not at all intrusive. Overall a quiet pleasant site within easy 10 minute walk into beautiful Broadway Village with it's shops, pubs and restaurants, and easy drive to many Cotswold attractions. The site was mostly full all week, and as with most Caravan &Motorhome Club Sites there were lots of dogs, and it was commonplace to see owners allowing their pets to foul grassed areas around pitches, although picking -up the mess, but these are the same grassed areas where children sit and play, and people sit out in the sunshine etc. The only other issue of note was speeding well over the 5mph limit along the straight bits of the site many while towing caravans. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Lovely site and location

Very pretty site, love the hedges and trees and the layout meant not seeing rows and rows of caravans/motorhomes. Its a long time since I queued for a shower and I think that the club should invest in additional facilities. I used the tumble dryer and found it disappointing that you could only feed in £1 at a time, so had to keep running back every 15 minutes. Lovely walks from the site and some great places to visit by car a short distance away. Had to police but the 5mph speed limit is certainly not adhered too.
