Ive read quite a few reviews before booking this site and the few with complaints well we experienced none of it
No noisy lawn mowers no rude wardens just a nice quiet clean site.
Nice site but very rude warden!!
This review relates to our stay from 8th to 29th June.
Firstly it’s a lovely site and very clean and well presented.
That’s the good bit.
This is the bad bit.
Our stay was ruined by a very rude male warden which I have made subject of a complaint to the CAMC,.
The incident left us feeling humiliated and anxious. The complaint was dealt with by the CAMC very quickly and I understand that the warden was spoken to.
This was our first ever such complaint to the CAMC .
My wife and I were very saddened however to read recent reviews, since then, that seem to confirm that the rudeness and disrespect to customers has not improved and actually seems to have worsened since our complaint was dealt with.
There is clearly a culture of rudeness and verbal bullying by one or more of the wardens and it this is a situation that needs urgent action by the CAMC.
We are paying customers and do not expect to be shouted at,humiliated or treated like we are an inconvenience to the staff.
I have today contacted the CAMC regarding my previous complaint to highlight our concerns and to point out that matters have not improved and that I will take matters further via the President if need be.
I would urge customers who have been the subject of rude and disrespectful behaviour to make a formal complaint to ensure that these problems are dealt with.

What happened to good old fashioned politeness !
After being caravan club members for many years I’m sorry to say the wardens at Bridlington should be changed without delay by the club and not be allowed to work at any club site until they have learnt some basic customer care skills.

3rd year here- but a few issues.
This is the 3rd year we have stayed here during the school summer holidays. We take our 2 grandsons as they love it as they always make a group of friends and have plenty of room to play and explore. This year we had a few issues however:-
1.I have never seen as much dog waste left un picked up. As a non dog owner I find this to be a disgusting thoughtless action. There was one enormous pile left on the grass right next to our pitch where our grandsons play. I feel that the club should impose a membership suspension if anyone is found to be leaving dog mess on the site.
2. The grass in the children's playing field was too long for them to play, especially as it was wet a good deal of the week.
3. I would echo what previous reviewers have stated in that some of the staff need some " customer care " tuition. On arrival I returned to the office to let the staff know what pitch I was on only to be shouted at for entering reception without a mask even though it was not now mandatory and there was no sign informing us that a mask had to be worn.
4. I feel that the club prices at peak season are now at " rip off" level. A serviced pitch with 2 adults and 2 children is now nearly £350 for 7 nights. I am old enough to remember when you could have a family week in Majorca for less than that!!
Dissapointing
We booked an East Midlands CAMC tour. First week was Buxton. Fantastic, lovely pitches great friendly helpful staff, reception sold basic necessitates and gave out map for lovely walks, fantastic scenery. If you have not been there you must go. Second week, Sutton. Lovely site, all flat, great staff, 18 minutes walk to sandy beach. Loevly wardens. Reception not only had basic necessities but daily papers. Sutton, 35 minutes walk, had everything we needed. If you have children, this is for you. Then we went to Bridlington. Arrived, stopped at barrier, and I headed for reception…. And was yelled at. Stay in your cab. Do not approach reception. Did you not see the sign. (we looked next day, the sign was on A4 paper small typed, needed to be 2 ft away to read, not in a Motorhome.) We sat in cab with masks on whilst he stuck his head in window, no mask, and tried to get a remote card reader to work. Concerned they disappeared with my card and, though it was returned, No receipt. Pitched up and reported location (Stand outside door and shout in). Next day accused of moving pitch. I offered dash cam footage on my phone, she said ‘oh forget it, I will alter our records. The next day the warden told me extension leads to awnings were not allowed, fire risk and I must remove it. In Buxton and Sutton facilities were cleaned twice a day. In Bridlington only once. When we arrived, (in mens,) 1 toilet and 3 showers were out of action in and when we left 2 toilets and 2 showers were out of action. Fancy a quiet afternoon, no chance. The warden loves grass cutting over and over the same grass. Our neighbour was told to remove everything from the grass, so we dare not even put up our washing line. Needless to say we will not be returning to somewhere we felt unwelcome. Such a shame, could be a great site.

Large, clean and friendly site
I must disagree with other reviews for this site in reference to "unfriendly wardens". Our experience in July was the opposite. The two wardens we met, a husband and wife team, were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to chat and give helpful information about the area, buses and eateries. I can't give their names as no name badges were worn and if we were introduced, I can't recall their names. I would just like to say that we found them to be lovely - helpful, friendly and professional each time we came across them. They even rang us to see if we were ok as we were delayed on our journey and arrived quite some time after our given arrival time. I wouldn't think they were new wardens either, as they told us they had been there since March 2021. Maybe the poor reviews are for previous wardens?
This is quite a large site with good sized pitches and a new facility block. Both facility blocks were spotlessly clean although I can't help thinking CMC missed an opportunity to build the new block with "all-in-one" facilities which are so much easier for many people to use and avoids having to use more than one cubicle - for shaving, showering, etc.
Other than that the site is in a good location on a bus route to Brid and Flamborough Head which is useful for 'motor-homers'. Buying the "open top" day ticket is the best value if you want to use the bus for more than one journey and is also accepted on the umber 14 bus too.
We had a peaceful stay at this site and would certainly consider it if we were ever to be in the area again.

Appalling wardens
Never felt the need to review a site before but after a week staying at this site feel the need to warn others of our experience. It’s a great site, clean facilities and a brilliant location for the local tourist area’s. However Unfortunately this site is massively let down by the most rude, obnoxious and unfriendly wardens that we have experienced. Visitor parking is clearly an issue for them! They constantly talked down to myself and my wife in a patronising manner changing the rules on a daily basis informing us that visitor parking was for guests paying to stay over only. Came to our pitch one morning to accuse us of having guests stay over that we had not paid for which we certainly did not. Even when shown the hotel key of our guests we were told that meant nothing to them and was no proof. Never smiled once during our 7 night stay to us or any other guest. Please CMC the four wardens staying on this site need urgent customer care training that’s if they actually want to do the job! Having read the reviews on our return it’s obvious that similar reviews are being left. I do hope the CMC can address the situation at Bridlington.
Regular user of this site
This site is perfect for visiting my family in Bridlington. If you plan to go out and about there is plenty of wonderful places to walk and explore along the coastline. If you plan to spend most of your time in your caravan, than this isn't the site for you. I have always found the wardens friendly and helpful, they have alot to cope with re Covid restrictions and rules since reopening and if there's a lack of flowers etc I'd gladly go without that for now to have a Covid safe site.
Unhelpful warden
The site facilities are great unfortunately the warden who cuts the grass was unhelpful and very sarcastic, they saw me erect my awning and windbreaker and the following day told me to move it off the grass because the grass needed cutting I said i had never been asked to move guy pegs on any other site his answer was “Those sites aren’t run properly”
Disappointed with wardens they need retraining on how to address the people who as club members pay them.
Looking at other reviews a lot of members are in agreement

Humourless and Unhelpful Site Warden
At checkin I felt like a new army recruit being lectured by a sergeant-major. I was told exactly how to park and told in no uncertain terms that my proximity to the post would be checked and any deviation would require my van to be moved! I asked if an extra night was available but told to check for myself on the website.
The site it is clean and tidy but completely without character and extremely exposed to the wind. The grass is mown to within an inch of its life, it would appear that the wardens attribute more priority to grass cutting than to people skills. They are a completely humourless bunch.
The amenities are grossly under maintained, there were a total of 16 shower and toilet cubicles locked and marked as ‘out of order’, representing a capacity reduction of 30% on a large site in high season. As a club member, I view this as completely unacceptable, it needs to be addressed by the Club as a matter of priority.
Even though well located, I find it difficult to recommend this site.
